Winner of the award probably going to be yet another old Camaro or any muscle car like the last years.
And yes, that's a bad thing. Cant we get some rebuilt D-type or something? Now i don't know much about this GT award thing, but i do know that more than half of the winners have been muscle cars.

How about we actually wait and see instead of jumping to conclusions? I get it, people are apparently frustrated that A lot of SEMA winners have been American as of late (funny how before, that wasn't an issue), but lets at least see first.

I'm just throwing in a guess of what might happen.

Calm down friendo.

:odd:

I just simply said lets wait and see what happens, I don't see where my reaction warrants me to cool down.

You sounded kinda hostile, but well its hard to tell these things by text.

Sorry for the misunderstanding:dunce:

Isn't that one last year's winner?

I see it is being recorded, nice :D
Yeah, last years winner, I seen this on GT.com and masterGT said it took them a year but they finally finished recording it. I see they still doing it on a dyno and a microphone, I think it's going to come out well tho.

Whats interesting is the fact that most of the cars arent available in stock form in the game. Case in point: Ford Trans Cammer, Camaro 1980's, Corvette Convertible, etc.

I don't have a complete list of the cars this year unfortunately. I arrived late to SEMA this morning and only caught the last three cars.

Not pictured: an orange pickup, and...a GT-R. :P

I would absolutely love that HPA Golf(with what I presume to be 740hp and 4wd). Even if we already have an older one.

Hell, I'd like the Camaro as well but we just got one two

I wouldn't know if put that Camaro in the Questionable or Tasteful modifications thread

Seems like whoever made the Camaro seems to have followed the RTR example of "🤬 the rules"

That Camaro is SICK!!! We already have two HPA cars, so not really feeling them but I'm sure it's nice and with 740hp I'm sure it's fast, wish it was a two door. Jeff Lutz car would be crazy, 3,000hp+ would be insane, but that Camaro I bet is going to catch Kaz's eye. Look at the front suspension! The Camaro has my vote. Anybody notice how Jordan said and... a GT-R...lol:lol:

Because he more then anyone else is well aware of the lynch mob here that is the anti-GT-R crowd. Even if its from the 2014 Super GT season or its the 2015 LMP1, its a GT-R and people will flip.

The GT Awards partners with automotive tastemakers and leading journalists to find the very best exhibiting cars at the SEMA Show based on five categories.

One vehicle from the five category winners will be considered for the Best in Show Award, which will be selected by famed Gran Turismo creator, Kazunori Yamauchi. In addition to the ultimate honors, the winning car will have the extraordinary opportunity to become a playable vehicle in a future Gran Turismo® game.

The winning autos will be revealed at the GT Awards on Nov. 5, 2014 at Drai’s Nightclub inside the Cromwell Hotel in Las Vegas. The list of the five categories and judges:
  • Best Truck or SUV – Judge: Ivan “Ironman” Stewart, off-road racer
  • Best Domestic Automobile – Judge: Motor Trend magazine
  • Best Hot Rod – Judge: Hot Rod magazine
  • Best European Import – Judge: Magnus Walker, Porsche Restorer
  • Best Asian Import – Judge: Troy Sumitomo, auto designer and Five Axis founder

That is true, I myself am a huge GT-R fan of all generations, R30s to the R35s, it's a great car and I don't blame the Kaz for loving his home countrys car. If it was an American made game I'm pretty sure we would have every variation of Mustang, Camaro, Corvette and Challenger on the game and I bet not one American would complain. It's sucks because there some awesome tuner GT-Rs in Japan that I would love to see on the game, MCR R35, Mines R35, Top Secret R35 etc...

I don't think its going to be the GTR 'Best Asian Import' winner (I'm guessing). Because it will be nothing really new, unless its a RWD.

And definitely not the Lutz '57 Chevy BelAir 'Best Hot Rod' winner (guessing again). Because we don't have a drag track, and it will be the only real drag car in the game.

Also, not the Camaro 'Best Domestic Automobile' winner (guessing). We already have a couple.

The same with the golf HPA. We already have two.

My best guess it's going to be that Orange pickup for 'Best Truck or SUV'.

What make is the truck ? ... old ? New ?
