Any news or rumors on whether GT5 will have Initial D like mountain tracks?

If that is the case then i hope they make a fictional track based on a real mountain pass that is somewhere in japan.

Why Japan in particular? There are plenty of great mountain passes in other countries. Stelvio Pass comes to mind.

Stelvio pass looks cool, but you can hardly get faster than 30mph there.

NFS Shift looks pretty good but I want 60fps and full Sim physics on my tight mountain tracks.
I will be getting Forza3 but I'm not willing to invest $300 dollars for a proper Fanatec Wheel with H shifter and clutch when I already have a G25 so that pretty much leaves me begging for GT5 to include an awesome touge track
Yeah, but I don't think GT5 needs touge tracks. The first think I think of when I hear the word is a buch of teenagers who seem to think they're somehow clever when they destroy their tyres by doing burnouts. I get the appeal of rallying, but I treat it as more of a discipline than an ego bender.

now with the new features in this patch , maybe we could create some mountain track initial d style.

Well I think GT5 needs touge tracks lol
great game but the more variety the better

PD doesn't like street racing, it explains why there are no cars at SSR7...

I'd like touge, a public road would be nice, but there are also some pretty nice closed ones too.

its not street racing , we should explain to Kaz that , there is touge batles in closed roads.

Drifffffffffftttttttttttttoooooooooooooooooooooooo Takumi Fugiwara style :P

It is basically street racing

Who cares what kind of racing it is, it would be great online

is this a face of a illegal street racer??

Probably. I had an Option Video with Isami Amemiya at a big RX-7 meet in Japan. I can't remember if he was one of the ones doing high speed runs, but others in the group certainly were.

Oh, and mods will probably issue a 'You naughty, naughty boy!' to whoever bumped this thread from 2009.

Course maker Mount Aso or whatever it was called is good enough for me. Some of them have really nice uphills. Crank down the lane width and it becomes a challenge to drive fast.
