Any Non-Dupers out there?

I've traded once (400R for an X2010 to grind the Indy), never duped, never glitched. A spec level 31, B spec level 8, I own approx 80 cars having sold looooads to fund a Formula GT at around level 25. For this effort I have been awarded a Yellow Light Of Death from the Console Gods. Cheers for that. Having fixed 6 YLODs for my mates previously, I was quite confident in getting the old girl up and running again. Having the heatgun go pop halfway through the fix leaving me with a warped motherboard has well and truly scuppered that plan. Keep smiling, even when it hurts :)
 
There is no need for duping or glitching. Got the game on release but I spent my first month with license tests and special events. Now I am level 31 A-spec and 22 B-spec. I have about 50 premium cars and 220 standard cars.
 
I'm not a duplicator, but I have traded, and I did trade for an X2010 S. Vettel BUT I just earned mine from the SV X Challenge, and the only reason I'm keeping the traded one is because I want the other one to stay untouched. Other than that I can't compete with traders these days because of the X2010's flying, but playing it real means a little more to me.

I just went through a major period of selling off my inventory and keeping all the cars I wanted/needed,
 
I've duped a few of my cars for friends but I've never been gifted a car so everything in my garage I bought/won myself.

Damn, now thats harsh... i guess if you truly love the game, getting your old cars back could seem rewarding right? right? :nervous:

This game seems to cause a lot of YLOD.. i should probably backup my system, as its a few years old, and i've yet to do that.
 
No duplicating here either, nor trading - not really my style.

Current car count is only 326 about 100 premium (can't recall right now.) I did have more but gifted a few to friends - had the game since launch. I'll have plenty to keep me busy, learning the ones I have until new cars crop up.

Wow, I've got a lot of work to do it seems.... Dumb move on my part just now, Just bought a second version of a car I was awarded earlier...

Also just dropped down to $100, 000 cr tuning my newer cars for online.

I don't Dupe, Trade, or venture onto the Online world for racing!

The worst thing I have done is send a LF-A to my roommates account and then send it back to get 2 chips of matte black for wheels...I felt guilty.

I personally hate duping...it is a form of cheating..you might as well make a new gameshark so that people can put the veyron engine into their honda civics :rolleyes:
 
I've always respected GT for its no cheating "policies" very rarely int he gaming world do you find a title with so much content to be "unlocked" with no "master key" to do so...


So no, no Duping, no gamesaves, no Driving Aids nothing but bucket seats and over\under steer. And ABS-1 if im using a controller.
 
I don't dupe or glitch, ect.. I never received a car from anyone, but I gave a few duplicate cars (not dupe glitch, legitimate me earning the car twice and I have no use for 2) to friends.

No duping here but have done one trade just to see what its all about and I grind indy for credits. I don't care if people dupe because it doesn't ruin my game experience in anyway. Load times and animations are slow enough so I rather just play.

I've read the posts on here about the duping out of curiosity but have played the game straight, since I want to play the game for what it is, not take advantage of a loophole that gets me to complete the game quicker. What's the point in that? I don't want to get to 100% complete any faster than my current progress?!

I dont dupe, and I do trade, (but only with my brother)

A-Spec : 29
B-Spec : 36 (I leave it on while doing Uni work, purely to gain money, and obvcourse for the free X2010)

I personally dont see the need to dupe, if you play A and B spec simultaneously, then there is never a race you dont have a car for, as i find they compliment eachother very well. Im sure alot of people say B-Spec is ****, and it partly is, but if you use it the same time as A-Spec it can be very valuable.
 
Never duped glitched or trade. Earned everything I have the old fashioned way.

Im at a point in the game where its like all the foundations are built all I can do now is randomly buy new cars and make them look cool then go online for sessions.. Im just waiting for the next update..

Not sure about others, but i guess i'll answer anyway.
I didn't duped/bday glitched/traded even once before i've reached the point, where the game kinda ended for me. Yep, level 30, did the vettel challenge and that's it, game over. 9hr/24 hour races.. no thanks, b-spec.. same.
More than that, i actually had 12 good cars from the start (stealth + chrome ones), i didn't used any untill extreme events, and i bought a normal 787B anyway (love this car ), so doesn't matter.
So i'll say for myself only, i've duped/traded a lot of cars just to get at least 20 - 30 more hours of gameplay time. Because no way i can spend a few days on oval just to buy a car, drive it once in practice mode and never use again. So, thanks for the duping i actually tried a lot of cars without mindless oval grinding.
I don't understand people who are duping from the start, to use an X1 on sunday cup, it will make this uber short game even more short.
But i do understand people who are doing that to get cars for fun or even online. If the system is broken... people will find a way to fix it somehow and GT5 money/grinding system IS broken.
 
No Glitching or Rubberband grinding.

Do do trades, and I do dupe all my cars, but only because I want to keep one totally unmolested example and one example which I use, problem is not all of the cars can you purchase easily and I don't have the time to mess about waiting for the right one to come up twice.

Play the game however you want, I'm cool with it. BUT, you could get completed/100% gold/Filled Garage gamesave files on the PS2 (and PS3 later of course). Just FYI.
