Beeout of exile was a big let down....
SilverzoneI dont agree With that. I think it is better than the origional Audioslave album. it has some really good tracks on it. Especially The Worm, Your Time Has Come, And Drown Me Slowly.
PSI love 'em. At least they had something to say.
SS69yea they had a whoooole lot to say. Lets reflect back on some of the acute lyrics they expressed:
Lets look at this fancy little dandy:
"Burn, burn, yes ya gonna burn
Burn, burn, yes ya gonna burn
Burn, burn, yes ya gonna burn
Burn, burn, yes ya gonna burn
Burn, burn, yes ya gonna burn
Burn, burn, yes ya gonna burn
Burn, burn, yes ya gonna burn
Burn, burn, yes ya gonna burn"
no words...should have sent...a poet.
And what about this cute little number:
"It's comin' back around again!
This is for the people of the sun!
It's comin' back around again! Yeah!
It's comin' back around again!
This is for the people of the sun!
It's comin' back around again!
It's comin' back around again!
This is for the people of the sun!
It's comin' back around again!
It's comin' back around again!
This is for the people of the sun!
It's comin' back around!
Of the sun"
That sure got my intelect to swarming.
And who could forget the ever so clever:
"Feel the funk blast
Feel the funk blast
Feel the funk blast
Feel the funk blast
Feel the funk blast
Yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, check it out, yo, yo, yo"
and...
"what ya say, what ya say, what ya say, what?
What ya say, what ya say, what ya say, what?
What ya say, what ya say, what ya say, what?
What ya say, what ya say, what ya say, what?"
They took the words right out of my mouth...
Bones Brigadewow. youre stupid. seriously. you take what...a small exerpt of lyrics that include way more dialogue than that, and say they aer meaningless. you can do that to any music. "this is for the people of the sun" actually does have meaning. many times lyrics are more than they seem. just because you dont get it, doesnt mean there isnt meaning. thats ignorance on your part, not the band.

SS69if ANY song has a part in it where they say the same line over more than 3 times then they have no talent, especially if they dont have the instruments to go with it. The only way that should be acceptable is if they have good instrumental work. 40% of the song may actually be "saying something" as you put it, but the 60% that repeats itself ruins it.
