Any reason to keep all these suits/helmets?

Hi guys,

I have a few questions. I have a ton of helmets and suits from seasonal races that I have no intentions of ever using. I also have accumulated a bunch of saved races. Can all this saved data be slowing down my PS3 at all? Periodically GT5 is very slow to load. Should i delete the saved races, and suits/helmets? Also, before I delete the suits and helmets does anyone want them?

I personally don't think gears slow a game down but many collect them as a collection. I have a couple friends who seek to have every single suit and helmet
 
I don't know if all that stuff slows your game or not, but you could try clearing your system cache (in the options menu) some feel it helps.
I also have no use for those suits and hats, a waste of resources IMO, fortunately I have a friend who takes all that junk off my hands.
 
I think the museum cards are a liability in terms of save game size, so are cars and so prorobably helmets and suits. You can delete cars you don't want, but not museum cards, which strikes me as dumb, and you can't give them away fast enough once you have a full login bonus. Haven't tried deleting gear, so can't comment. I did notice some load performance benefits after 2.0 while at the same time my game save shrunk from 4200k to 3600k approx, so the size of the save file does matter.

Hmm. Good thought. Anyone have any cars they are willing to trade for a collection of suits/helmets? I have been looking for the Saleen S7 forever and a day now and I can't seem to find it.
 
I'm keen in some gears. What cars are you looking for? I don't have an S7 though.....

The S7 seems to be the only car that alludes me. I simply can not get it to come up in UCD and with every update I check the Online Dealership and still don't find anything.

My PS3 name is quickegt. If anyone wants to send me a friend request I'm sure we can work something out with a trade. I'm a huge fan of yellow, so maybe some yellow paint chips in exchange for gear?

I'm not fussed on what I get, I just want moar. I'll send the FR tonight hopefully.
