Most Saab's these days are just re-hashed other cars, like the new Saabaru(not real name, i think its a 9-2, based on the impreza)

I'm sure i'll live if no saab's are included

Most of the modernish Saabs are also based of awesome GM efforts like the Vectra.

There's bugger all awesome about the Vectra.

SAAB is ugly, just because im a sweden doesnt mean i like it. I dont like volvos so much either. The design isnt good, especially not saab. :indiff:

Maybe they are good cars, to drive, to sit in and to race with :dopey: nooot

Don't know if this really means anything for SAAB's being in the game, but the 'few new pics' thread has pictures of a Volvo 240 estate, so if they have one Swedish maker in the game, it would follow so have something by the other in the game too. I can see it now, Swedish Challenge, the only cars allowed are the Volvo 240 and Saab 900 :) 👍

lol a SAAB did all that?????? wow don't mess with the Swedes!

I would say the real problem here is that the Ford is sponsored by Panasonic instead of Sony. Poor choice on their part (:

Can't really say i'm dying to drive any of their road cars but one of the old 9-3 rallycross cars would be nice.

Mmmmmm.................. saabs would make a wonderfull adition to Gt......there one of swedens finest autos....the take over my GM i think just made them a stronger company.....and there products benefitted.

Just my opinion here.....

I personally think Saabs have GREAT potential. They could be GREAT cars instead of GOOD cars if Saab found out what Rear wheel drive is.

They have awesome power but a so-so way to lay that brute force down. They suffer the same problem as the Acura TL. Great suspension, great engine and all that but what's keeping it from being at the top?

FRONT-WHEEL-DRIVE.

My two cents.

Completly right, put the pedal to the metal in a saab aero 250+HP and see the front wheels spinning?!!!!!(stupid)

Barrel rolling Cosworths make baby Jesus cry.

And they make me cry. :(

The reason the Corworth rolled over, was .. because it suddenly swerved..in trying to avoid a collision with the parked Saab!! :dopey:

hahahaha if only that were true... I believe the story goes:

If you like Saab, the ending might go like this: The reason why the Cosworth is flipping is because the Saab just blew by him and the wind from the Saab caused some instability in the aerodynamics of the Cosworth, thus making it crash. 👍

If you don't like Saab, the ending might go like this: The reason why the Cosworth is flipping is because the driver freaked out when he saw he was being passed by a Saab, lost control and crashed. 👎

Why it's worth to drive a Cos? Cos it's ...Cos-worth!
You drive a Saab, you will... :( .. sob-soob :(

Exactly. Because SAABs are big, heavy and slow. As the Cosworth was going past the SAAB. The air was really disrupted because of the SAABs nonexistant aerodynamics. Therefore causing the driver to lose control and roll it and fortunately for me (being a Holden fan) Another Ford bites the dust.

Well is SAAB is in (please no), hopefully they won't have the Saabaru - the North-American Saab 9-5(?) that was built on a chassis that had been cannibalised from a Subaru Impreza.

I was going to say. YOU MONSTER!!! I thought that you were meaning no Subaru, but I read your post again and it all clicked. SAAB makes for easy competition.

saabs are ok. i kind of like the more recent hatchbacks. personally i really hope they add volvo because we have a volvo 240 parked in driveway. if they did put it in there it would out-turn anything. it might be a beast but it has everything <8- ) the volvo is rwd.
