hey guys,I gotta quick question for you...what do you think would be the best car to take up against a ZZII on Tokyo R246?my friend has decided to race against me in his ZZII and it turns like a 🤬,so what car do you guys think could take him?his ZZII has 9XX horsepower, but I'm really actually more concerned about a car that could corner better than that one,but not get blown away on that last straightaway just cause of his extra HP,ya know?so if you guys could help me out,I'd appreciate it,thanks!

P.S. no F1 suggestions either :p

Toughie, the ZZII is a realy fast car and it handles awesomely because of the mid-mounted engine and 4wd combined.

Id say either a Toyota GT-One or nissan R390 roadcars with a simmilar spec tune. If your feeling brave try a well set up zonda or maybe a stock speed 12 with some suspension tuning.

Or you could just use your Hachiroku!

Hope that helps.

I would think a heavily tuned Speed 12 of even a Speed 6. You may like one of the RUF's as well.

Although that ZZII is a formidable opponent.

Good luck, and keep us posted.

Yes, the ZZII has all the right weapons in its arsenal, not least its light weight. I would suggest something like the Castrol Mugen NSX.

How can you say the ZZII turns like a *****? That's one of the best cars in the came bar none. If you tune it that car is a dream...The combination of elements is incredible. I say run wth a ZZII as well, I can give you some settngs that'll change your mind completely.

If you want other options you can run any of the JGTC cars (all FR or MR) with turbo tuning to match your friend. You could also try the Zonda Race car, such a magnificent vehicle and looks incredible too.

run a car with... good accel and good cornering
mine would b the vertigo race car
although i've never really seen a zzii run toyko.....
o and
i think it'll b to ur advantage when u run it backwards
don't ask why
i just feel that way ;)

Too bad the Vertigo can only go to about 760 horses.

Midus - when I said the car turns like a *****,I didn't mean that in a bad way..I meant that like this,"oh ****!how the **** am I gonna be able to compete with that?!that car turns like a *****!it could kick my ass anyday!" that's the way I was puttin' it..I wasn't dissin' it,but I wouldn't drive it,cause it has all them good essentials added to it whenever you get the right stuff ya know?kinda like an F1..well,almost..an F1 can turn on the dime..I just don't like cars that can just,ya know, turn without hardly any work at all...I like cars that you have to put EFFORT into when you race with them, instead of just basically relying on the performance of the car to help you turn instead of your skills..but that's just how I feel though...so I guess that's another reason why I don't like fast cars too much, cause,I mean,yeah..they have their ups and their downs...their ups - they have a great acceleration and a good top speed their downs - they won't be that great on a windy course with a lot of corners (I'm talkin' about the heavy ones, not the ones such as the 787B and F1s) I mean,me,I love my R32 dearly, but it just has to much weight on it..and with it tuned all the way up (856 HP?) the weight starts to be a more troublesome thing ya know?that's why if I ever race someone with my R32,I at least detune it to 450 HP so the weight's not that big of a deal, but I admit..I have raced with my 787B ALOT,but that was only in championships, since that was the only car that turned really good and had the speed to keep up with the opponents..but I would NEVER race against somebody with my 787B or any other car that's really fast...why do you think I pulled out my Hachi-Roku (AE86 Shigeno Version) against my cousin and his 1045 HP Viper and beat him on Rome Circuit?cause I knew my cornering abilities were a lot better than his since he had too much weight on his car ^_^,along with challenging my friend's Escudo on Seattle Circuit II in the same car..and I beat him by half a second, and he only spun out once...that's all it took..but I can't take my AE86 against the ZZII cause of it's awsome cornering and acceleration..that's why I'm askin' you guys for some help..hope I cleared things up for you Midus..but thanks for your comment

All right cool, my fault. There are a lot of cars that would make this run enjoyable...I personally would use something along the lines of a Pagani Race or Denso Sard Supra. They are both very stable cars. Good luck with the race!

yeah..... vert isn't that bad.. just that like..... it don't got nuff horses ykno? lol
but if u tune it right...... its an insane drifter and gripper @ the same time :D

F094/S.

but really, take a Speed 6, tune the suspension to death and give it stage 3 lightweight.

The vertigo may only have 760bhp fully tuned, but it only weighs 900 something kg giving it a good power to weight ratio. Although the ZZII is also quite light, although I dont think you would win with a Tuscan Speed 6 even though it handles very well it just hasnt got the power to keep up with a fully tuned ZZII. Mind you it also depends on your friends drving abilitys, but the ZZII is probably one of the best road cars in the game, Ive heard of people beating gt-one racers and the like with it. Personally its not my choice of car because its too easy to drive (easy = no fun).

Tune a FTO LM, or S2000 LM.
Full on, you will have 900+ HP and a car that turns like a rocket sled on rails.

I'd have to totally agree with you on that one Race Idiot ^_^ (Easy = No Fun!) Finally, now I know I'm not the only one that thinks that way!hehehe...and to the point of my friend's driving abilities..he may hit the wall like a couple of times, but if he continuously does it,he might just start riding the wall..and that's cheating (well,to me anyways) and I know this doesn't have too much to do with it,but it's my manual car against his automatic..so that may also be a factor in it as well, but I'm not too sure..so I'll just try your ideas guys, then give ya some feedback =D,thanks for the suggestions so far, cause I think the race is gonna be held this weekend, hehe

but i thought you can't tune the stuff in 2 player mode..
doin't arcade mode just pop all the vehicle defaults back when u play arcade?

that may be so, but i was assuming they weren't racing at the same time...not sure why, just did.

If you play with arcade cars, then you "run what you brung"
If you play out of your garage, you are playing with your most recent settings for that car.

Yes, the computer just doesn't show your upgraded HP, etc on the selection screen. It only shows "stock" HP.
You must go to single player mode to do suspension settings though.
I think, that HP to weight, The FTO will beat up on the (also awesome) ZZII.:D

well, when you go into two player battle,it shows the speed gauge all the way up (if you tuned it up any in HP) but here's what I don't get...I have a lime green lookin' Elise (the kind where it has them two things on the hood ya know and it's reeeeeally small) and it doesn't say the name above the car when you go to select it and the speed gauge..the whole gauge is red :thatsodd:!I don't get it,it's sayin' that the car is reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally fast, but in all actuality,no matter what you do to it,it doesn't seem fast, but it sure can turn,so I guess that may be the only reason I kept it ^_^ and cause you can't buy it in the lime green color, hehe:D.I also won a lime green Supra and it looked kinda cool, but also kinda :yuck:,but I guess the only reason I kept it is cause you can't buy it in that color and it just looks weird, hehe =D
