Any tips for the 8-8: Endurance Race

Hi guys, the tittle says it all. Some pointers would be very welcome.

I used the Beetle before last update on RS, pitted after lap 2, full fuel, changed tires(RS) & cruised to victory.
I thought this was 1 of the easier missions but I haven't rerun it yet after the update.

I used the 911 RSR with RM tyres, pitted after lap 2, changed to RM again, fuel map at POWER during the whole race, could be easier with RS tyres but I found out I made some mistakes especially after the tyres wear out (which is pretty fast on this track) and decided to go for mediums - worked pretty well.

Best tip I can give you is to learn the track. This mission is actually quite easy, you can get 1st place at the start of lap 2 and gain 15-20 secs per lap on the AI, even with fuel map 6.

I used the WRX and max power for the whole race, medium tires and pitted on lap 2 for mediums and enough fuel for 2 more laps.

My strategy as well, worked great.

I used the regular M6, the same one you were given for Circuit Challenge. Basically just drive clean and by that I mean try not to spin out more than once and get back on track really fast. The Mercedes opponent goes to the pits on 3rd lap. Most other players and me, go after the second lap. If not before, you know you are going to win if you pass him if he is still in the pits. If he is ahead and its 4th lap...possible but he drives really fast and really clean but you can be faster in corners much more than him so gradually you catch up.

I didnt change any fuel or tire settings, just kepot everything as is.

I used FT-1 Gr.3 with full weight reduction, RH tyres and fuel at 6 for the entire race.
Didn't have to pit and won by 8 secs but could have been a lot more (Very scruffy final lap!!).

Beetle, fully upgraded, soft tires, pit everylap... finished more than 1 minute ahead of second. (went out of track three times)

Is this the Nurb 4 lapper?

RSR, fuel 1, RM tyres, pit end of lap 2... you can also add power/lower weight in this one if you need to.

I actually ran the 1st stint on RS, but they were shot half way round the 2nd lap, so would recommend RM. I had the lead well before the end of lap 1 and won by well over a minute.

Circuit knowledge is your friend.
