Any way to make custom race? (select opponents)

Apologies if this is stupid question but, is there any way to make a custom (offline) race where you can select all your opponents cars?
In arcade mode?

It would be even cooler to be able to do it in GT mode in practice. if you could select opponents from your own garage so you can them choose tyres and hp limiter for each car.

Not currently. Sounds great though and useful for proper close races, thus PD will probably implement it in update 3.90... :rolleyes:
 
Yes, thats why I asked because - I love this game but Im really not that great, so I always end up either smoking everyone or finishing last!

But when I have those close races, it's insanely good fun.

Anyone have any other ideas how to set up closely matched races?
I think I read somewhere setting HP about 100 more than the best car should give me enough leeway for one or two errors per race and still be in the hunt.
The thing is I dont want to be just racing the lead rabbit car (is there still one? - I thought they got rid of that?) - I want to be racing the whole field. I guess you can do the race in practice mode called 1 make. BUt then the other cars are too evenly matched right? Man, they need to have AI making more random errors. I dont see them spin out enough, miss a gear or break too late. That must be way too hard to program.

You see this more in the Seasonal Events, its funny watching AI noobs spinning NSX's and Tuscans and other easy to drive cars.
