Any way to play 2 player split screen on ANY track?

I was just wondering if you could play 2 player mode (split screen) on tracks like Complex string and Deep forest? It seems that there are only a few tracks you can play 2 players. Is there someway to unlock the other tracks or something?

You must complete the first tacks on easy, medium and hard. An early tip is to go straight to hard setting, thus avoiding wasting time on easy and medium settings. Once you have completed the first 6 tracks you will be rewarded with another 6 tracks. Check your bonus screen and you will see that you have completed the first 6 tracks and the next 6 are ready to race. Complete them to further the amount of tracks that you can play and so on.

demon of speed thanks very much. So if i complete hard, do i need to complete easy and medium?

Ive never mucked around with Arcade mode before.

You won't have to race on easy or medium, just go straight to hard. You'll find arcade mode very satisfying, especially time trial mode! Once you have all the tracks and want more of a challenge, try pressing L1 and R1 simultaneously on the difficulty selection screen to play on very hard!! Good luck.

Ok, im a bit confused coz im not infront of the game at the moment. So basically go to Arcade mode, select 'Bonus'? or 'Single Race'? I can't remember. All i won't is to be able to play 2 player split screen on deep forest and complex string

The bonus screen is only there to check up on what you've accomplished in arcade mode. To race you must select 1 player mode. Sorry to spoil this for you but, Complex string will not be available when you have completed every track on hard. It is the final time trial though, so you should have fun there!

Sorry to spoil this for you but, Complex string will not be available when you have completed every track on hard.

Are you sure? I distinctly remember several 2 player races I've done on the complex string.
Maybe it's one of those PAL/NTSC things?

The easiest way to unlock tracks quickly is to use the S-Class Castrol Tom's Supra. If you use this your opponents will be slower than if you use the Viper or Corvette. The more HP you use for your car the faster the AI will be. The Castrol Tom's gives you the most advantage over the AI that I have found. It handles nice and is fun to drive as well. Makes sure you do the Single Race mode on Hard setting like others said above, as it also clears the easy and medium difficulties when you win each race. Don't forget to save your game as you progress!

You do not have Cote D'Azur in 2 player mode. Cote D'Azur is not available in 2 player mode ever.

Yes you have, or else you haven't finished the arcade races on hard mode. Complex string I & II are both available in 1 & 2 player mode.

According to Gamefaqs The 'strings' can only be played in 2 player mode, kinda strange.
