Anybody else drive with steering wheel only using one hand?

@ sick06.g35: Nice red controller, wish I had one of those :)

I use two hands, but of course, I'm just a newbie with a wheel - still driving faster with the controller, but I'm closing the gap.

Have you ever tried driving the X2010 with one hand? Just going straight on La Sarthe (no chicane) would be an achievement IMO 👍

Yes i have, and your correct it is impossible to drive with one hand but i don't have much interest in driving the X2010 or the F1 car for that matter, imo those cars are just in the game for show don't think i will hardly ever drive them
 
one hand, like Ayrton in Monaco.

ps. i dont like the padles, i use the secuential stick. DFGT here.

i turn the feedback to 10 (if there was 11 i would do that) so i use both hands.

I have feedback on 10 also and have just got used to driving that way with one hand only assist i use is ABS 1

Just curious to know if there are any other drivers out there like me, i am currently using the DFGT and use only one hand to steer and the other stays on the sequential shifter, i don't really find i am at a disadvantage like this at all, there are occasions on certain tracks like monaco and eiger nordwand where i will use two hands for the tight hairpins, i really don't feel the need on the other tracks as i feel you are hardly using full lock on the majority of the tracks, did the first time trial around the cape ring a while back in the kusabi and finished just outside the top ten using this method, am i the only one or are there other drivers out there that drive like this and do you think using this method that i am at a disadvantage.

I use this method on occasoin with my old logitech DFP. I prefer the paddle shifters, but my wheel may be dying since for the past 4 or 5 months using the paddle shifters cause me to skip a gear about 33% of the time.

It takes a little getting used to but as you said it is not too hard.

I only one hand when driving the s2000,its the only car that works for me.And it makes me feel like that initial D guy in the purple s2000 XD
 
Sometimes I drive with one hand... when the rear kicks out it gets quite funny :D
Like I would wash the dishes :D

But, when I'm racing I'm driving with both hands :)

I don't drive in real life but if i did it does make me wonder if i would drive one handed in a real car, but i only live on a small island and don't see the point in getting myself a driving license
