I've not driven it much, to be honest - I think I have a 'thing' about the Z Concept after having spent most of the Polyphony Digital running behind it waiting for it to pit.

I used the Z to win the Tokyo Enduro and a few other races, after tuning it a bit. The Z is pretty much the reason I decided to buy the game. I guess I was a bit disappointed that it isn't more "useful" than it is.

Still, I think the Z and the GT40 (yellow) are the best looking cars in the game.

Moreover, they are, and this is me typing here, the two best looking production cars ever.

I kinda don't like the newer versions of the legend cars. They're all sufering from the same illness - it's looks. The new Skyline doesn't get my attention realy.
The same are my thoughts about Nissan Z.

I don't love the car, but it is a good car. Too bad it only comes in orange in GT3. I would've liked to get a silver one.

I like it too, except the color. How does it compare to the real-life 350Z? They look very similar, that's all I know.

The Nissan Z Concept (GT3 car) has a different bonnet than most of the other 350Zs. I believe one of them has the ridges in it, but I'm not sure, it could also be an option. The rear of the car stayed pretty much the same, but in game the exhaust shows it coming from the middle, and the bumper encloses them. In real life, they're further to the outside, and below the bumper.

As far as performance numbers, I believe the two have relatively close HP. 273hp in the game, and I believe it's rated at 287hp. Torque numbers are a bit different though. If I remember correctly, the torque in the game should be multiplied by ~7.2 to get a close ft/lbs number. I got 237.6ft/lbs, while the real life one is rated at 274ft/lbs.

PS. HP peak is actually 6,200rpms (in game its 6,000) and torque is 4,800rpms (in game 4,000). Still, not a bad replica for something that was still in conception at the time.

I've not found much use for the 350z, but my wife loves that car to DEATH!!!!!! She wants me to buy her a real one, she loves it so much...........I'm still pushing for that Sentra SER V-spec, then I can get GT4 with what I would save on the down payment and insurance

Nope, sorry grego, I'm a RX-8 fan. The Z had too much understeer for me to enjoy fully.

I like the Z but i don't have it yet.

I hope you've ordered a Memorycard to come with your PS2, or you'll still be kinda frustrated. I remember I left my PS2 on for about 2 weeks because I couldn't save my game, because I had no memory card.

I don't like the 350Z that much, i'm more a fan of the 300ZX.

Lucky bastard! :p

At the time PS2 memorycards were hard to come by, so I had to wait for some to come. Was the other game you got Smackdown Bring the pain?

That's also an awesome game.
