Anybody got SNOW yet?

Today was our first serious snow and I was out first thing this morning. I went crazy in my local golf course's empty parking lot and it was a LOT of fun. The parking lot is divided into two sections by a row of grass and trees, so I managed to make a fun little track and drift around it the whole way. Of course, I was driving a Tahoe, which I know severely limited my fun, but I don't want to share the road with bad drivers on a sheet of ice in anything else. It's got some pretty horrific understeer, though... :(

We have tons of snow!! I hate it... I have to clear the driveway every morning, then the plow comes by and blocks me all over again. Oh and melting the ice on the windsheild, hate that! Constanly getting pelted with snowballs from the local neighborhood kids.

I hate winter time in Florida!!!! IT SUCKS!!! :p

Not us. It's been cold enough for snow on a number of occasions, and we've had a lot of rain, but no snow. It has snowed on the tops of the hills that are about 400 feet above our house though, so it's been close!

Yesterday was our first real dump of snow that's actually stuck to the ground. If funny watching all the Californians trying to drive in the snow, heading out of town. ;)

None. Nor will there be in Phoenix, AZ. Snow is nice from a room with a fireplace seen through a window.

I grew up in Chicago and have had more than my share of snow and cold. No more. It is sunny and in the 60's today.

Although we do drive up to the mountains at least once a year to frolic in the snow with the dog. It's nice when you know you'll be back in shorts in a few hours.

We've had a few inches of show here... yet it all melts in the day.. stupid sun. It seems all the big storms miss where i live. I want some snow... Its fun to fishtail the back end of my S10.

We've started getting snow in the last couple of weeks. It's been extraordinarily cold here the last few days - it's gotten down to single digits overnight. You'd think I'm living in Montana, for crying out loud. :smilewink

I've already been rallying (as detailed in the thread in my sig). The Integra is too nicely mannered with its snow shoes on. Good on the road, but not much fun for rallying. However a quick flick and tap of the brakes will usually coax it into a nice four wheel drift. :)

Yes, well, in your former home, the car says it's 22 degres, and it's cloudy as crap. It's only snowed here once or twice, though...

We got 5 or 6 inches here in the Pittsburgh area this morning. Needless to say, school was cancelled, so I had a great time sledding, playing vice city, and turning an old skateboard into a snowboard. Heh heh, I felt like I was 10 all over again.

It's snowing right now. Aparently it's going to snow until midnight. 6 more hours.

It doesn't seem to be accumulating much and it has been snowing for at least 5 hours.

A week or two ago, I did the something similar in our school's empty parking lot after an ice storm. Didn't really drift, but I had great fun just peeling out and doing donuts.
