It's most likely a prize car for completing the Redbull Special Event. Nobody knows for certain when the event unlocks, but the speculation is it appears at level 30. I'm at level 27, and unfortunately each endurance race doesn't give enough XP to get to the next, so you gotta grind.

Dammit lol, I was hoping I wouldn't have to do that. Oh well, tomorrow I'll grind a million credits to do the engine and chassis overhaul on my FormulaGT and see if that'll make the races easier.

Sorta. I'm sure Newey knew what he was doing when he passed off on it. The HP of the car is easily doable, and fan cars were never developed far enough to know what they're capable of. You'd definitely need a g-suit to drive it though

for one, the worlds best aerodynamicist worked on it, being employed by red bull, who cooperated with PD making the car.
it's also a fan car - something i'm guessing you have no idea what means.

it may not be completely possible in real life, but it's a damn good try at making the worlds fastest race car.

He obviously doesn't know. It is something that I think can be achieved in real life, but maybe not quite to the degree it will perform at in GT5. The concepts are realistic though.

You have to buy it used for 4.8M credits. It took me a few hours for it to appear for sale. I still haven't refreshed the engine or chassis (another million), but sampling that race it looks like it'll be far from easyish. The AI was driving extremely fast/competitive and aggressive. A far contrast from every other event I've played so far.

The official car list doesn't include a Redbull F1, only the Redbull X1. So maybe that list is referring to the X1
