Either way, the car will blow. It's so fake and handles like a arcade racer. Bad attempt to make the best car, that cannot exist.

The reason why people are so excited about a fictional car such as the X1 is because it's design was influenced by Kaz, Newey and Vettel. Obviously you know Kaz well enough. Newey is the most influential F1 designer during the past 2 decades and was heavily involved in building up the 'for sale' former Jaguar F1 team in 2005 up to 2010 double title champions. This guy is legendary. And obviously Vettel is this year's F1 driver's champion.

Not often do you get a glimpse of "what if cars" from the mind of a multiple championship winning F1 designer and an up and coming current/probably future F1 driver's champion. Let alone have that vision modeled in one of the best driving games ever!

Yes it does look pretty F-Zero-ish, but you don't have F-Zeros in sophisticated driving games like GT5. Or rather, have you seen these kind of cars driving in the Nordschleife in other games?

yer was a bit disappointed when I finished formula GT with all gold. ah well so close to level 28 lol

He obviously doesn't know. It is something that I think can be achieved in real life, but maybe not quite to the degree it will perform at in GT5. The concepts are realistic though.

But who can drive it that fast? Thats the issue.

An F1 car is extreme enough for F1 drivers, so something with 50% more performance in bends and under acceleration/braking is just not going to be reasonably useable.
