@OP: sharing your PSN login details (& your GT5 game save) to someone with a wheel & skills to beat the challenge for you is a way, but very unsecure.
He could change your password, your details, delete your friends, buy stuff in the store for you (if you have your credit card details stored), etc. ... too much hassle.

I suggest order online a DFGT (amazon, etc.), beat the challenge within 2 weeks & send the DFGT back to get your refund (if you don't want to keep the wheel). 👍

I can understand the OP. You have beaten everything in the game, but you can't complete the game (Platinum Trophy) because your are not one of the 1% with hyper sensitive thumbs (DS3) or you don't have a wheel.

The Vettel challenge shouldn't be part of the Platinum Trophy. No UFO's in GT5. 👎

Just dont understand how a person is so desperate to get a pixel trophy that he is willing to go as far as sending account info and/or meet someone in RL to help him. Now probably either way it wont end up in disaster, but still, is it worth the risk it for a game trophy? The only other problem is...if you want the trophy to make yourself feel accomplished, shouldnt you do it yourself?

You could copy your game save to a usb. Find someone who will do it for you. E-mail the game save and get them to do it then e-mail back the finished one.

If that works someone can gold me the vettel challange lol.

It is possible he just wants the trophy, without feeling the need to pat himself on the back afterwards. There's nothing wrong with being a completionist.

Ill add to this thread, instead of just poking fun. I highly suggest not giving anyone your account info. I also suggest not meeting someone in RL that you dont know, for the creepy factor. You know that it CAN be done with a DS3. I think you would feel better if you did it yourself.

I had no trouble with Monza... Golded that easy. But the first and the third with a DS3 is hard. Maybe i can do nurbug (1st challenge) but the third, practically impossible. I've done over 8 accumulated hours on nurburg but im still 3 seconds off.

Anyway I have heard of some people on here doing the buy and return thing. Go to you local Best Buy with 30 day return and do what you can to beat it and return it back? Might be worth a shot especially over sending all your account info and passwords.

To buy and return sounds more ridiculous then the having someone else do it imo. I have a wheel and I can only do Monza. I'd only consider myself average, but lets say ~1% can do the challenge with a DS3. Then less than ~1% would have the skills to learn to drive with wheel and beat this challenge in the window you have to return the wheel. Just my personal opinion.

I read the thread where HotNFrew bought a wheel and returned it so I'm not saying it's not possible. Just saying If you want this to be complete for the sake of being complete it's easier to have someone else do it.

You guys that are worried about your account being stolen well it can't. You own the e-mail connected to the account you have the power to change your PW back if someone were to mess with it. Don't attach a credit card to your account, this is a given with PSN history. Whats everyone worried about I don't get it?
