They said it probably won't be modeled after a specific Ford in their current line up, rather, Ford will design their own DP specific bodywork that resembles their brand. I like that better actually. In my opinion, DP cars should not resemble a street car.

Makes sense to me, they're a pretty big Honda Racing team and are involved with HPD fairly closely, since they buy HPD Civic packages whenever a new one comes out.
