I thought somebody might mention that. But it's not like it's a real mystery anyway.

I got curious to see if I could find the spot on google maps. Just put in R246 and there was the road. A bit of scrolling and viola.

Many/most "Original" city tracks are based on real world road layouts. R264, Cote d'Azur, Seattle Circuit, all are real road layouts, fantasized to be race tracks. (Route 5/7/11 too if I'm not mistaken.)

I did this with New York from GT4 an then got on True Crime: Streets of NY(map is accurate for Manhattan) and followed the track on the game.

Very well, I'll take the bait (Troll means to fish I think) - I do not know what you mean by R264 then.

R246 is in GT5 and was in GT4 and even GT3. This seemed to be the correct answer for the initial post.

Now R264 - means nothing to me in the context of Gran Turismo.

I thought I would take a punt and suggest there could be another road in Japan - perhaps number R264 - a light hearted jape at what I presumed was your initial error in typing R264 rather than R246.
