Hey guys.

Im confused with whats been going on in GT5 lately. For example
i deleted my last profile {Messed up really bad on there}and then when i was on lvl 1 i got to lvl 7 in 10 min and it turns out it was because the XP was overlarged the XP was 1000 and up and i was only on the beginner's series.

I saw the latest update and it said rewards were gonna be larger and i thought it was gonna be at least a little amount of money and XP,but then i turns out it was more XP {which isnt bad,}Does anyone agree that theres a little too much XP?

No. There might be a little to much in the beginner series but your going to need it if you want to get to level 40 without grinding that much.

You won't feel this way once you reach level 33 or so.

You'd think maybe they could change the experience rewards for higher level races and lower level races independently... 💡

Yup, what they should do is keep the xp the same for up until you reach expert. Then it needs to ramp up quicker, otherwise it would take forever.

I was on lvl 23 but then like i said i messed up.

I wouldn't say too much, but now that the xp rewards have significantly improve I kinda feel all the efforts I put in the game to raise my level were meaningless.

Should have been like it is now from the beginning.

I would still like more exp and more credits. I do appreciate the increased exp but in order to go higher than level 37 it is taking forever.

When i was on lvl 23 it took me forever to go to 24 but if i still had my data i would of been on 28 or 30.

You people honestly need to take a good hard look at yourselves!

"WAAAAAA! There's not enough exp. WAAAAAA!" or
"WAAAAAA! There's to much exp now. WAAAAAA!"
Make up your bloody minds and get over it!

I felt similar when the ocd showed up and started selling all my rare finds including the FGT. You have to just take it on the chin. Haha

and I'm guessing you lost all your data by making a mistake when duping or birthday glitching. ? Serves u right if so. Haha

See, all (or most) of the premium content like Super GT or some supercars are unlocked around Level 20 or higher. And they want you to need to work harder (or longer) to get to that content financially, even though you may have unlocked it:crazy:

I didnt even do that thing,i had a glitch happen to me and it made me mess up on alot of events.

P.S it was not a birthday glitch and it doesnt kill your game it was a event glitch.

Yes, no, more, less, standard, premium, smaller, bigger... for god's sake what is wrong with you people?

I don't know why everyone wants to get to lvl40 straight away, or get all the top tier cars so quickly. Honestly I played all the GT's for YEARS, real life years.

A level doesnt matter besides not being able to enter a few races, and you cant tell me your honestly having fun with all those cars. Having fun with cars takes time and plenty of it.

Professional drivers dont just jump straight to the top tier of events either, nor do they after attempting a race once win it and never attempt it again and move on. Have a look how many times Tom Kristenson has won Le Mans, now he doesnt just go on straight up to F1 or something does he, no he (did) race DTM year after year... grinding you could call it ;)

The Main "Challenge events" are the;GT All stars, and the Extreme events, the last of them being unlocked at LvL 24. You can Likely have fun with cars, but they usually are'nt the one's you would expect.

The only thing that makes Tom do the things he does is that opponents and rules actively change. Opponents have personalities, much like if you went online with a DTM race, while GT5 has repetitive AI that never changes (unless PD changes them). Variety is the spice of life, and this applies to GT5 as well.

There was nothing wrong with the XP system up to level 25, you could reach level 28 without grinding before the seasonals came along. The big issue was not enough XP thereafter and the most common complaint here was along the lines of 'I want enough XP from winning a race to open up the next race'.

It looks like they have fixed the latter and have 'over' fixed the former.

There again, everyone can now reach level 40 Aspec much easier without doing the long endurance races, and then XP becomes irrelevant.

I'll say no. I have been working with a new profile, and the XP system is so much better. Through Level 25 and I don't have to grind, and if people want to get to Level 40 w/o the Endurance Races then that's fine by me. We all play the game how we want to play it, I say.

Its not too much extra XP. Its actually a really good thing if your LV. 30+ A/B Spec since it takes ages to try to reach to 40 before the update so its actually just fine as it is.

So basicily the low levels such as lvl 1 to 15 get more XP than people on lvl 20 or 30

you are right but i guess im not used to yet.

reached lvl 40 b spec @ weekend 10 x 9hrs tsubaka 4x 1000km suzuka and like 20 times 4hrs nordschleife and many many dreamcar races

thats a really long time... you dont earn cars this way or get good money... whats the point of the whole thing? (lvl 39-40)

its just stupid to do that...

+1

Just like when you buy a thing and the next week you see they halved the prize.

I reached 40 level A-Spec one week before the patch. I saw the new exp prizes and said to myself oh ****.

Ultimately the point of gaining all the XP was to better your driving skill so it's never pointless, unless you didn't learn anything during the process. XP is fine because I don't think the point of GT is the race to win money but again to better your driving skill. I think they need more races and to make the game longer!

I'm fine with the reduction of cash earned per race but too much xp you say? No way dude. I've read where people have to run up to ten 24 hr races just to reach level 40???? That's ridiculous! Now it might be like 7 24 hr races lol.

Just hit 35 B spec myself so this is what I have to look forward to. Don't think I'll be getting that far in A Spec. I'm aiming for L32 so I can do the 'Ring 4 hour.

Which is of course a whole 30% less ridiculous....
