I pretty much have no desire to play the game anymore. I bought every car that I wanted (except the X1 and Ferrari F1's) and the game just ran out of replay value.

What is the point of the game now? Anyone else feeling the same? (and happen to still be browsing these forums? lol)

Eh I'm getting kind of bored too. I'm just grinding away and cycling through the UCD to buy cars I find interesting.

Nope, not one bit.

Even though I'm pretty much am done with all the A-Spec events and have almost every car I would want, I still get a lot of enjoyment just doing time trials, making tuned and untuned versions of my favorite cars, setting up cars to race online, doing the seasonal events, etc.

Just because you completed everything doesn't mean the game has to end. :)

What is the point of the game after you bought the cars you wanted? How about drive them? Try racing online, that's an unlimited amount of fun for me. If you are bored just by simply buying all the cars you wanted, maybe racing games aren't suited for you? Just the driving alone with the improved physics is good enough for me. I remember back in the day before the COD's where people would just play the game to have fun. It seems now it's all about unlocking stuff, leveling up, and after that people are like "what now?". I loved Socom on PS2, it had no level XP or unlocking system, you just played and had fun. I admit that A-spec and it's lack of events is somewhat of a letdown though.

Go buy the Murcielago SV and race around the Eiger with the car stock. Never be bored again.

Still working on events the online events are definatley adding some chalenge, and money. Bob is only at level 6 just cant find things to do while he wastes my time, never really got the whole b-spec thing anyway. A-spec just rounded level 23 and going strong.
Went throught the entire GT series 4 was the only one I didnt complete and lost track of all the dealership one make races never completed and lost interest in that one, took me a couple of days to get into the new one and hooked again!

Wow if you are getting bored of gt5 already I can't imagine how long previous gts lasted. ?

I'm sure the previous GTs lasted longer due to the amount of events they had.

GT5 is just too little in A-Spec events, B-Spec makes it even more boring in my opinion.

I see my interest in this game waning, oooo about the same time GT6 fires up in my PSWhatever.

So many fantastic cars to drive and experience, then tuning (it's not always best to tune everything to the max, it's about finding the ideal balance) them as well. And as PD have stated, more cars are expected to be converted to premium (although this doesn't bother me, but I'll take it if they do it), and I'm sure there will be many more updates to come.

Then there's online. Nothing more needs to be said.

Hell no. I havent taken it out of my PS3 since the day it came out. Still cant get enough of it :)

I'm not sure how you can be bored of a racing game with this phenominal level of content unless your just not that into racing.

I'm actually having alot of fun in B-Spec for the last few days. Everytime I finish something there is something different to try.

Absolutely awesome game :)

More seasonal events are desperately needed, in fact, all the the default races shipped with the game need an overhaul to offer more restrictions or greater levels of difficultly. Bring on the challenging gameplay PD.

Yeah I'm starting to get bored of the game. Starting to do the Enduro now and have to say that the cars that you get for completing the races are rubbish and worthless to say the least. well the first 2 events anyway, but i cant see myself racing for 24hrs ....... that's just nuts and a big waste of time and sadly B-spec doesn't have fast forward time anymore like on GT4.

A wee bit.

Still love gettin new cars and driving around the Green Hell Loads.

Not played A-Spec for about 5 days now. I'm at Level 28 now and i'm just sick of doing the same races over and over. it's just not fun anymore. :(

I just let B-Spec run instead to get me money for now.

Nope, not one bit. I've played GT5 everyday except one since it's released. There's a lot of content in the game, and GT5 is an "incomplete" game at the moment, but Kaz and PD are not finished with GT5, as they are providing at least one or two updates per month.

You're not bored of GT5 until you've at least done this:

I'LL NEVER TIRE! It stays interesting if you know how to use it correctly.
There is an endless amount of gaming to be had here, you just need to be able to realise it.

GT4 kept my interest for about 5 years -- in fact, I'm still not bored with it.

GT5 is getting boring.

Lack of events in career mode, mostly, coupled with the fact that they dropped the A-spec point system from GT4.

Ever heard of online or drifting? Both have infinite replay value to me. That or play some black ops. I haven't played black ops since gt5 came out but I'm sure they will go into some sort of rotation soon.

That's close to how I feel. I turned it on earlier tonight for a bit, but it didn't last long. I played both GT3 and GT4 for years. On this one, I like being able to take a car around the tracks, but as for the racing and events, there are far too few. I think a fairly easy fix would be to update the practice section where you could select a car and compete with cars in that class, from MX-5s to Le Mans cars, on any unlocked track. Heck, karting around the Nurburgring!

I'm blown away. I don't think I will ever get bored of this. Don't you have your ps3 connected to net? Have you not noticed the seasonal events? They are awesome.

I'm getting a little bored too. The Endurance races are just too long for me to do with life getting involved.
The lic. tests and Special are either too easy or too hard.
Online I have found way too many guys that make that an unpleasant experience- I'll leave it at that.
i do get in a group for actual clean races that are just that, clean races., and that's fun still so we'll see.

Wow, so your up to level 40 in A and B-Spec? Thats some achievment. Congratulations.

I guess there really isnt any more for you.

Not many Aspec but if ya notice Seasonal has already had additions. Maybe Seasonal races gets even larger.

I'm messing with special events and seasonal and staying busy.

Sadly yes...the problem with standard cars or limited tracks doesn't really bother me.Its the lack of events and how poorly the restrictions for the events themselves are. I can go to any event and blow the competition away, even overlapping them in 5 lap races? real driving simulator...pfft, there are many aspects of GT4 that are far more realistic. The main problems with the game have nothing to do with the actually driving, which is perfect but what I consider the difference between a mundane game and a perfect game...the details. From the very first point I worried, with the driving overalls being so ugly, having only one decent car to start with (silvia), not being able to customise events, not being able to go into the pits with 2 player, have standing start time trials on top gear track, manufacture events, paint cars any colour that they originally came in, un-mandatory licences?wtf, a retarded point system that doesn't let you do events, extremely limited rally (whats there is excellent), limited go karting (whats there isn't so excellent), pooey damage (doesn't matter to much, just looks stupid), jagged wheel arches on standard cars(I could fix them up in photoshop!!),a point system for online would make more sense than in career-mode since half the people only want to do burnouts...If all these thing were included the game would be as perfect as possible.

I was getting bored when I was level 24, and had to grind... Grinding isn't racing -.-
Now that i've unlocked the Endurance, it's fun again :D

I'm not touching it till PD bring out an Update wich enables me to save my Endurance Race progress for example every 2 hours, or something like that. Until that happens, it's MAG and AC: Brotherhood for me.

I won't get bored as i am not grinding , instead i am buying from the UCD or new then tuning each car and testing them around certain circuits, recording the times of each car ,when i have enough of each variation of car for each track i then go back and try to beat my personal best for each car. ( I use the championships/races not the practice tracks so i gain a little money and xp) Why rush a game when it can be have so much longevity fun and you find out which car you prefer to drive which is great for when i eventually venture to online play. Plus i just bought a 2nd hand wheel and this way i get to learn how to use it. So far i have smashed my own records with a D-pad and i am still learning the wheel ! ... To be bored already is like going on a 2 week holiday dipping your toes in the sea , eating some icecream, drinking a few beers then asking the holiday rep what time is the next plane home i am bored now after only 2 hours.

Yep, and even though said A spec points counted towards NOTHING (thanks PD?!?!) in GT4, it was still fun to work out a tough race and to try and hit that 200 mark anyway.

GT5 just doesnt have 'that' aspect to it.

Im up to the FGT race and endurance races now for A spec...And i dont like the FGT so far. So what ive done is to create profile B on a spare account. Am going to re do all the seasonal events - assume 4 million in credits and use this to buy great cars and ship them over to my main account!

Yay!!!
