How does it drive? Can you tune it? Did PD get the sound right on this one? Since there is no test driving of cars (which is stupid) I figured I'd just ask the community. I'm only level 12 and have very limited money so I have to be cautious on what I buy right now. Is there a lot of races that I can use it in or do you think its a waste? I know there are faster cars that cost less, but I just really love this car.

It was the first car I saved up to buy, my second car overall... It is a BEAST!
Yes you can tune it, I have mine around 672hp I believe, and the Sound is perfect IMO.
I've won quite a few races with it as well, & to me, it was well worth it.
Overall, I'm very pleased with it, and once I got used to controlling the throttle on it, I've been very successful.
The only thing "wrong" with it IMO, is the wheels during game play (mostly in the daytime) appear too '"bright chrome", as opposed to the "hypersilver" or "dark chrome" look they actually have. They arn't nearly as reflective in real life.
Also, I may be wrong, but I think you can go to the car at the dealership and "Demo" (watch/hear it in action) before you buy...

I bought it and max tuned it. Think it topped out at 664 HP. The sound seemed perfect (from what I've heard on videos and commercials) until I upgraded it and now it sounds just like my maxed out '07 GT-R. Not sure if it is supposed to sound like that in real life with all those upgrades because I've only heard a stock one before.
Either way, it is an awesome ride.

Sorry, I should clarify. I bought all the upgrades for it, not "max tuned" it. I haven't screwed around with the actual tuning because I tend to make cars undrivable when I start tinkering around with that stuff. The 664 HP is just all of the available upgrades purchased and installed. I'm sure you can get more HP out of it if you know how to tune it.
I'm a bit to much of a petrol head (and in Top Gears opinion I am one as I have own an Alfa in game). I also own a 458, SLS, Murchielargo SV, GTR V-Spec. I want to get the LFA as well and a few more cars like a Gallardo, normal Murcielargo, MP4-12C, F1, X1 (when I unlock the Challenge) and an Audi R8. Oh and a Zonda R but I hear thats a prize car in Spec B.

The LF-A is a beast! The sound is indeed perfect, just like all the other cars. I have to say that PD really nailed the sounds, they deserve a compliment for that! Especially compared with the vacuumcleaner sound in GT4 and GT5

If you're trying to decide between anything and the LFA, chose the LFA. HAHA
But really, it's a great piece of machinery in the game. One of my favorites... Nice tight steering and plenty of power. The sound doesn't hurt either.

The Lexus LFA is by far the best car 'til now for me. It looks superb, especially in cockpit view, it sound so great (almost like the real one - I love these downshifts... whoooarrr 
) and it handles good.
Now I'm saving all my money for the 787b because that's the only car in my opinion that can top the LFA in all areas!

its a good car for when you start out then youll need something more powerful and lighter so you get the point
