I was tuning up my Taurus SHO '98, I decided I wanted a spoiler as it was available. However the spoiler did not show, instead the original small spoiler remained. The car data updated as though the car did have an aerodynamic upgrade, but alas no new spoiler.

Has anyone experienced this with other cars? This is the first time I've seen this error.

Yes, this happened to me with one of the older Corvettes. I don't which one though. The rear wing did not show in the preview when purchasing it. I took a chance and bought it anyway. It still did not, and has never been visible, but I can make rear down force adjustments.

C60 hydride and another race car (I think it is the Audi Playstation Team Oreca racecar '09), you pay 200k for a spolier that you can't see.

Ya It happened to me to. That SHO is the worst one Ford made, wish PD new something about American cars, would have use the mid 90s SHO with the Yamaha developed motor in it that outperformed the 98 model, or even the 2010 with 360hp and AWD. But anyway, just a small bug and since the spoiler is actually uglier than the car, a plus in my book.:sly:

On a number of cars, you're simply paying to upgrade the "stock" spoiler to an adjustable one in the same spot.

Though how this would work with the Taurus spoiler (bolt washers, maybe?), I have no idea.

The real spoiler glitch is on the RUF Yellowbird. The aftermarket spoiler gets attached to the stock spoiler, and it just looks terrible.

That is actually the way the wing looks on 993-and earlier based Porsche GT race cars. Not a glitch at all.

yes ive seen it too as i own a real taurus, alas a V6,and our aussie rear wing is wider on the real car.
is the yamaha a V6,mines a durotec

the first SHO was a yamaha v6, the later 90's was a yamaha v8, but it sucked compared to the earlier v6 model.

You mean the very much like real life 930-era racing spoiler available for the RUF BTR?

I honestly like that it keeps the rear wing and doesn't change it. Also if you but a Skyline R34 premium it have the same thing too.

In your garage, go to car, press triangle, create thumbnail!

Might work, did for me when my car didn't update new wheels and paint!
