First off i still play gt5 once in while and have both consoles and love both games, but it looks like fm4 will be off epic proportions. Anyone considering buying another racingtitle on the side? And do you think Pd will now step up and make some Dlc cars? How do you guys think they will stack up head to head?

All depends, both games will have their ups and downs to it, but i will not buy another console to play one game, don't got the money to do so
 
Yes I'm definitely going to be getting FM4 because of the vast variety of old cars. And yes I do think PD will step their game up with some DLCs.
 
I bought F1 2010 and Test Drive Unlimited 2 but I still play GT5 and I heard GT5 is having a new seasonal event to unlock the Jeff Gordon racing suit next week :D

Yeah, i get it no money, no fun right? I still bought a ps3 specificly for gt5 and gt5p. Was worth the price for the graphics alone though. 👍
 
Kaz should play Forza 4 when it comes out.

In fact, Kaz should play Forza 3. He'd learn a lot, even now.

Also agreed. It looks a lot better than fm3.


 
I have many, many other racing titles - not so much on the side, but all together, sort of. Each one gives me something different, scratches a different itch, tickles a different fancy - you get my point...

I'm yet to be convinced about FM4, but we'll see.
 
im only buying it if they make the g27 compatible.

Most likely, not gonna happen. Your only choice is either Microsoft's crappy toy wheel or the Fanatec wheels, which are a little bit out of most people's budget.

That doesnt look like a video game, are you sure that wasnt actual race footage?
 
People, will you ever learn not to judge a game by it's trailers?
Look at GT5 for example, people trusted the trailers too much and now those people say GT5's bad.

And on topic - no.

im not gonna spend an extra 450 bucks to get good pedals a stick shift and fanatec wheel just to play forza 4
 
I'm pretty curious about iracing, haven't checked it out yet because I use a mac. Forza 4 looks cool but I'm not interested in buying a xbox and wheel just to play F4.
GT5 still keeps me happy.
 
I wish I could afford to but I can't pay for an Xbox plus Forza just for 1 game, I wish I could as GT5 is getting old in my eyes, I'm bored off driving the same tracks over and over! Roll on F12011.
 
No , i wont buy xbox and forza 4 .
i have got alot of friends on PSN who plays GT5 and i enjoy the racing with them . GT5 is really good game i think that if FM4 will be better than GT5 it wont take alot PS3 players, like me . I started to play GT many years ago so now im officialy GT fan .
And one minus is that xbox and g27 are not friends :)
 
I'm actually debating buying an Xbox just for Forza 4. Everyone I know is already planning on getting it, so, I'll have plenty of company.

The 360 is pretty cheap now, so, I wouldn't mind having it sitting next to my PS3 to play some Xbox exclusive titles anyway. Sucks that my DFGT won't work with it though.

It doesn't matter how good Forza 4 looks......if it's going to be a choice between playing GT5 with the thrustmaster or playing Forza 4 with the crappy 360 controller the 360 would never get a look in.

Microsoft needs to open up wheel support.
 
Unfortunately, I don't have the funds to buy a 360 and fm4 (hell I don't even have a wheel). If I had the funds however, I would get it in a heartbeat, specifically the star wars lm coming out towards the end of the year :drools: I have plenty of racing games as it is, and I still play them all, so its not like an overload of racing games is an issue here.
 
I say thats really a temptation for me buying another Xbox only for FM4, after some videos..

But its a pain to think that i'll have to buy an Xbox AND a Fanatec wheel just to enjoy the game... that really sucks a lot (not to being able to use my G27 on both).

And still theres the user friendly gameplay that FM3 have... that keeps me on my toes..

Graphic looked arcade-ish to me also.

GT5 will always be the game I play. (Trying best not to be a fanboy)

I couldn't think of anything else I could of said. But GT5 is really the only car game I like to play. All others annoy me so much. Unless it's a PC game. PC car games are pretty fun. 👍
 
now with alms licence im totally geting fm4 the autovista feature itself is worth the money

To be honest it seems like it looks more like Need for Speed. haha
I won't be getting Forza 4 and besides I wouldn't get an Xbox since it has the hardest controller to drive with anyhow :/
