anyone else experiencing this this problem

i just started playing again after awhile so i had to download the 2.02

after i did this i went to my garage and when the cars are listed, most of the cars do not have a picture next to there name. It is kind of annoying because some cars have there picture and most cars do not.

I restarted the game and it still does not show the car next to its name on the list screen. Im assuming this has happened to other people, how do you fix it if at all possible
 
While viewing your garage, press triangle. Then select the "create miniatures for all cars" or something like that. It takes a while but should do the trick.
 
Hi mate.
Try highlighting car in garage and pressing green triangle button. Scroll down to Create Thumbnail and press. Thumbnail of car should appear.
There is an option to create thumbnails of all cars but heard it takes some time.

thanks its working on theres like 200 cars with no photos and since it took the 2.02 like 5 hours to download i dont really expect this to be quick

It's not related to your internet connection (I think), if that's what you mean.

Could be worse, though. You could have 1000 cars. That'd take a month or so.:dunce:

I don't think it's that bad. I did it once and it took 15 to 30 mins.

What I think it does is it checks every car you have and its specs and appearance and updates the foto and info.
 
A few car icons were lost for me, I just remade the ones that were missing which was about 4.
 
My PS3 decided to delete my game save data for no apparent reason and when I restored it from the USB drive ALL the thumbnails were gone, I did the create all thumbnails thing and with 1400 cars it takes approximately 90 minutes. :ouch:
 
When my PS3 died and I had to reload from my portable drive it took probably 4 hrs to rebuild my lost car icons. Of course I have 2,000 cars so its a real pain to do. To top it all off I had to do it twice as a day after my save file went corrupt.
