HAHA Finally !!! I captured some daddy long legs last night and I held their legs and set the body right into the mouth. I giggled like a little school boy watching the spider get captured. His little body is in the mouth and his legs are sticking straight up. hehe :trouble:
Mine are green and some are red like the pictures in post 19.

I know I would like to get that carnivorous plant set but I doubt I could catch enough bugs to keep all ten of the plants fed. I could always set it outside by my butterfly bush. I think my wife would have a fit if she saw butterfly wings sticking out of a venus flytrap mouth.

If I decide to do sunflowers again I could set it by them, they attracted all kinds of bugs.

Is their any kind of live bug trap that would allow me to catch things without making it harmful to the plant?

Now my interest is piqued and I must go research.

You dont need to feed the plants for them to live. They are just like regular plants but if they catch any bugs its just an added bonus. You just need to water them. We also grow sunflowers. We will probably have around 200-300 sunflowers this year. Its heathers favorite flower. But they sure attract lots of animals.

Oh, well that just makes it much easier.

I might just drop a few ants in and then seal the air holes for a little while.

:trouble: There's no escaping the chamber of death.

They sell venus flytraps at my local walmart. i think i killed em all tho. i kept touching there little hairs so they closed there mouths... :\

I touch mine all the time and they are still alive. Once the pod closes it will not open again for over 24 hours. All mine are still alive.

Sorry, systems are down at work and I'm bored. I guess my mind just went straight in the gutter.

 I was laughing pretty hard when I wrote that too. I even tried to keep a straight face but laughed anyway.
