Anyone else here gone direct from Gran Turismo (the original) to GT Sport?

Bought GT6 on release day, with all it's criticisms, I think it had the best handling model of the lot, and was a step forward from GT5 (although the standard cars included on both are just embarrassing)......

(GTS).....Yes it looks good, but handles woefully, and just doesn't feel 'new' to me, which gets me more worked up when they announce new cars and tracks that I've tirelessly raced with on the previous GT games.

This... I wish more of us would talk about the Emperor having no clothes. The step backwards in handling from GT6 to GTS is palpable (as noticeable as the step forward from GT5 to Spec2, IMO). I realize GT6 wasn't 'realistic', but neither is GTS. We went from about the right kind of grip that the player base could mostly deal with to Zamboni racing that it is all to obvious most of them can't.

I only wish more of the GTS base would really give PC2 another try, much has been fixed since launch, and it's track list, car list and handling is basically everything we WISHED GTS was going to be after GT5/6 was coming to an end. Yes, GTS's online component is a step ahead of PC2's, but in just about every other area, PC2 trumps GTS. It's probably going to be 6 years before PD get full weather, ToD and evolving track conditions into GT, and my bet is, it will STILL handle like a Zamboni!

I read wishlist after wishlist here for cars, for tracks, for things like Indy and vintage cars, and I keep thinking 'You do realize PC2 already has those?!"
