Anyone else misses popup headlights?

I don't miss them because I see them every day. ;)

That said, I do think they're cool. Totally unnecessary and needlessly expensive for repair, but cool.

It's okay, Mazda ones don't go wrong anyway. Ever.

When I was researching for my Miata book I was speaking to a guy who repairs MX-5s and has done for the past decade. When he first started fixing them up he bought a load of pop-up motors, thinking that loads of people would need them down the line. He still has his entire stock :lol:
 
I like them, they look good on some cars. Below I'm just showing various cars with pop-up headlights.

I don't think I miss them with today's current car styling. My car has them so I get to see them when I want.

I swear my next car is a MR2. I swear it is....

Yea I miss them so bad. I love looking at my pop-up headlights. It makes some cars remind you of jets like the Ferrari 512BB, NSX and 180sx Type X (in my opinion).
