Anyone else with this issue?

Very often, and always related to Nurburing, once the race is over and I exit out, the game doesn't load right. It's like it gets hung up, then my race doesn't save.

Just completed Dream Car on A-Spec for the 3rd time, 2nd time winning the championship, and it didn't load up the gold trophy. Just queued the music, showed the PD flags, and no trophy appears and I can't exit out or anything.

Pretty close to just abandoning any event in this game that is related to Nurburing because I'm getting tired of wasted effort on a race.
 
It has done that to me a few times, but not that often. I grind dreamcar series for cash. When I get to nurburgring and start loading the race, the load progress bar reaches 100% but the game gets hung up. Waste of 45 mins.....
 
Yeah it's quite the bummer. Just started farting around with ASpec again and this is the only event I have left for Extreme series but it's being stubborn. First time I completed it I didn't get all golds so I wanted to redo it, got my golds, and a hung up load with no save =(
 
Have you tried clearing the system cache? Another thing you might want to check especially if your PS3 is loaded with games (and therefore data) is the amount of free space. If you have 200MB or so left, it's time to get rid of some redundant data. The last thing is to make sure the GT5 disc is clean.
 
Although I do it in B-Spec, I also grind the heck out of the Dream Car Championship for credits. Thankfully, I've only had my GT5 lock-up on me once after I exited from the last race but before I got my trophy.
I was able to do a hard quit of GT5 using the PS button on my DS3 controller.
Unfortunately, I ended up losing the 1.5 hours of time by not getting a single credit for the entire championship - and it was when the entire championship got me 1,080,000 credits. On top of that, I ran the DRC again after restart, and a really expensive car I need (can't remember which) popped up in the UCD, but I was short on credits to buy it - by less than the 1,080,000 credits I didn't get in the DRC that failed on me!
A little more periodically though, like a few times a week, I'll have it where the PS3 locks up as the race is loading, and it's not always the same track and/or championship, either.
Maybe it's simply that the GT5 software is just pushing just a little too far beyond the PS3 hardware's limits?

This has happened to me a couple times. Not in doing dreamcar, but just in loading a random track (one was indy like the wind) the progress bar shows 100% and it hangs up there. I have to restart the games :crazy::indiff:
 
I have had strange goings on in dreamcar aswell, tracks not loading, cars stil going round at 80 Km/H after the race has ended and the price screen not loading.
been worse since tha last patch...
 
Crap, this happened to me now to, after spending last hours to gold licences.. B-1-9 is gone i guess, well now I will save more often...

(Looking at B-10 fully loaded racebar, dont want to turn it off, lol. )

Fix this PD or Sony or someone..
