Anyone have gifts they can't receive?

I traded a car with someone and it shows up normally with the red star by the community tab at MY HOME. But when I go to community, click on gifts, and try to " Receive All" it does nothing. I tried receiving it and adding it to my items list. I even tried the triangle button to delete the gift without receiving it and it gives me the message "Upload Failed" with the yellow sign and exclamation point. Anyone else run into this? Am I just stuck with this gift I can't receive or delete. Would trade a nice car for a remedy to the situation........Thanks.....sped1966.
 
Do you mean which car am I having trouble receiving?
 
could be internet connection problem. did u try to log out of psn and log back in and try receiving it again?
 
Yeah.....I did the trade last night and could'nt receive it. So I quit the game, went to bed, got home today and signed in and started the game.....still got a gift I can't receive or delete. Strange. And kinda annoying having the red gift star there all the time.Hmmmmmm.what do you think?

that is interesting. i have received the upload failed message multiple times because my internet sucks but i have always been able to just click it again and receive it. sorry don't know what to tell ya except try to get the person who traded you to send it the car again
 
sped1966, is your internet connection bad or good. If its bad then its probably for that very reason, but if its good it might be some sort of glitch.
 
I use to get the same problem as well...
But from my experience, it's a connection problem.
 
its your connection. If it gives errors, dont use the "receive all" button, rather download each by itself. i think youll get around the error that way even with a bad connection.
 
Ive had it happen to me I backed up my save data recived the car played the game and I copyed over my game so I had to play from my backed up game. That means I had to try and reget the gift again now im having the same problem as you LOL
