Anyone here got gold on IC-10 with every single aid turned off? (including ABS)

I hate using aid because it seems that mastering manually all the intricacies of the car should eventually result in being able to be faster, but after trying ABS 1 just for kicks on IC-10, I realized how much easier it is... :(
Has anyone here golded IC-10 with every single aid turned off? If so, what were your lap times? I've seen 1'22" and 1'17 on youtube but it seems everyone there is using ABS.
 
I tried ABS off, but in the end I decided ABS at one was about the best I could reasonably hope to use. I turned everything else off, though.
 
Well after relentless practice, I finally did it!
No aid whastoever, ABS off, manual transmission and even using the regular dualshock! :)
If anyone else has done it, please post here, I'm still interested to know how many people golded this with all aids off and ABS off.

Same, I don't switch the ABS off in the tests and special events because you cannot change the brake balance and with the standard balance from 5:5 it's actually quite unrealistic.
 
I have everything Gold and (excepted the rally test) used ABS at 1. Because braking without ABS is just ridiculious with wrong calibrated pedals.
 
I turned everything off but kept ABS at 1 and got silver. I probably won't go back for the gold though.
 
I did it with ABS.I don't know how I would do it without ABS. Because you win it by outbraking everyone and using a DS3 I'm sure to lock up the wheels

You can switch the break balance in the special events and probably in the license tests as well. Go to the button settings for your pad and change some button which you usually don't use (I took R1) to the one triggering the in-race-settings. Then put the adjustments on the d-pad and that's it. That way I have changed the settings for the Top Gear Intermediate Challenge to get gold... Works, but you have to adjust it again and again cause it doesn't save your settigns.
 
Duh', thanks, did the same with the ASM in the NASCAR events (although, switching off ABS would've worked too, noticed that too late). Feeling stupid right now. :lol:
 
Gold with ABS on 1. Learn to travel at a really fast speed through the first corner and try to overtake about 6-8 cars.
 
That was a hair puller of a race, I finally managed gold 2 nights ago and it needed some pretty hairy driving. I had most problem with that really slow right hander leading onto the main straight as the car either a) doesn't turn-in or b) fishtailing on exit and if I can't get by the Miura there I had no chance.....

The car was just a handful period, played with bias and left ABS at 1.

Golded all licenses with ABS at 0(since I always play that way). What do I win?

j/k, but that must have been difficult! I tried, but only could do silver, but with ABS 1, gold is doable.
