...DL movies that are on the net?

Like I found a whole thing of Mazda commercials, and I want to DL them, but they are the kind that when you click the link they play, and if you right click and go Save Target As it's a html page.

I really need these movies for MAZ and other things...:(

Could you try posting a link to these videos so we could check 'em out?

Try right clicking on them, click Open Link In New Window, then maybe that will open up something that will allow you to Save Target As.

Check your internet cache (some movies will cache to that, but it depends on the format used.)
Another tool is a program that I've seen running around the net that is used for recording streaming content (like webcams, wmv, asf, RM, etc.) Search for "Record Streaming" or any type of variation of that. If I stumble across it again I'll send you a link, but the most likely way you'll get is to search a bit.

A ha! I found one, it's pretty cool. Too bad my connection is so slow, but it would work perfectly, and did.

I was able to record a tad...the vids are the kind where it just plays, not the kind that load and then play, so it kinda skips. But I have other vids that it should work perfectly on.

I'm getting ready to go out to eat, but when I get back I'll work on the stuff.

Thanks guys!

All you have to do is right click the link or picture to the movie, then selevt Save Target As..

Only certain types of movies allow for this (avi and Mpg for example) Streaming media is designed in a different way so that you aren't supposed to be able to store and redistribute copyrighted materials. (But obviously can with a little help. ;))
