is there a way to get the seasonal events without putting my ps3 online,

No, you must be online to get the seasonal events. I held off getting a wireless router until GT5 came out. I am very happy I got online with this game!! :)

Currently 39 and probably will take few more days to get to 40.

But I used fully automatic A-spec grind there is no way in hell I am gonna grind that insane amount of xp myself rofl...just no !

You can find the topic in general gt5 section for those that rather not torture themselves.

People had this weird tendency to not believe in their own ability, skills, but i do, and i did it. So it's not either impossible or hard. It's really up to you, either you want to achieve something or not. And committed to or not

Where did you miss that 1% ??

I still have to finish two missing races in A-Spec, that's Laguna Seca Endurance and last one 24h Race in Nurburgring GP. Those two races are that missing 1%

you could, but that would take ages! :/
but if PD keep on releaseing seasonal events, lvl 40 will get there soon enough!
No way, have you worked it out ? SEs give you 350,000 cr per week and you need over 24 million XP to get from level 35-40 alone.

@ussr, congrats on getting to level 40, platinum is getting very close for you. 👍

I'll already have platinum, trophies are 100% but game progress 99%

That makes no sense. How can you get a trophy for golding every race if you have not golded every race. (You only have to get gold in either A-spec or B-spec?)

It appears to me the same thing, no sense at all. But I've won those races in B spec mode and still counts as win every race and special event.

A.spec grinding over night (rubber band, tape and keyboard with enter button stuck) gives alot of exp/money.

I rigged my controller and keyboard on 5 mins. Then I let it go by itself for 17 hours(which means night and school/job), it gave me 1,5m exp and 20m cr :)(only 5mins work!:sly::sly:) Never failed.

But you should only do this when you have come to the point where you have completed almost everything and are REALLY bored of the game. I see now that grinding a-spec myself has become VERY unnecesary, and the fun of the game starts to dissapear.

Getting to 40 isn't hard. Just time consuming. If you have time you can do it quickly.

Isn't hard?
According to your signature you are lvl 32, which means you have collected between 4,805,004 exp and 6,105,902 exp.

To reach 40 you need 34,634,713 EXP!

EDIT: quickly is the antonym of the word you are looking for.

I guess it's nice to know that redoing Le Mans 10 more times and Golding Nurburgring in B-spec is completely worthless if I do it in A-spec first. lol

It's getting really annoying... I'm at level 32 and I really don't have any interest in endurance races. Why is it someone thought it would be a good idea to have to do a scheduled 120 races to get from lvl 0 to lvl 25, but only 8 to get from 25 to 40? Absolutely no reward for those who stick with the game and play for fun. To get a car every time you wipe your butt in Beginner to Extreme and then roll into Endurance... wow that's fun stuff right there. Completion of the Extreme series should reward the user with the option for endurance races or another whole new facet of the game with many more races, truly exotic cars and intelligent AI. Nope, I get stuck with 4 hours in a lousy Mazda Roadster. That's motivating.

Maybe when GT6 comes out in 8 years they will get it right.

The best part is (if B spec is anything to go by), you have to do them 3 or 4 times to level up past Indy.
