So buy an lfa in matte black, buy a ford gt. Then get the hood and paint the gt.

No, but I guarantee it will look bad for 3 reasons.

1: The carbon hood in GT5 is very shiny/reflective which will contrast the matte paint too much
2: It has hood pins which would look bad on a Ford GT
3: The matte paint in GT5 looks nothing like the matte paint on that Ford GT. The mattes in GT5 have all these weird white reflections that wont look good unless you have the right combination of car/color/hood/wheels.

I have a Matte Green Ford GT myself.. looks quite fine.

I ran with a Matte Blue for quite a while, didn't look out of place either 👍


As for the OP, I keep the matte black for the wheels.

lol, real picture. Theres a very "high quality" car show in Houston the 1st saturday of every month. I think that picture was taken in October.

It shouldnt show up on premiums, but it might have a ghost stripe on a standard. I have not tried a matte color on the standard GT or series one etc.

Hmm...I guess the stripe doesn't always show up then. I swear I painted two different GT's - one without a stripe - and both came back with a stripe. Odd.

Might have to create this car then .

Depends on the paint often times. Sassy grass green gives you white stripes, other greens can give black ones. And then chrome and matte and others seem to get rid of stripes (in my experience standards with ghost stripes do have them with chrome, but i have not tried matte)

Me too.....I have been playing GT5 too much when I see a real car and say it looks like a GT5 car.
