Anyone play Halo over the Internet?

Hey, been playing Halo on the computer over the internet, anyone else play over the internet?

How is Halo on PC compared to XBox? I've played it on XBox and really liked it, been thinking about getting it for PC (I don't have XBox). But I've heard that it's not as good on PC (which is weird for a FPS).

the grahics arnt near as great as on xbox, thats one thing i noticed but i enjoy playing over the internet

Have to agree here, plus unless you have a really nice rig, it's not going to be anywhere near as fluid as Xbox's version. In fact, I think that Quake 3 TA has the edge over the PC version.

My Halo on PC is ****e, it's buuged to crap and I can't get it running smooth for the life of me, I gave up trying ages ago and I've settled on the fact it was a waste of £30.

Gah. You guys answer my post after I bought the damn thing and wasted my money. Yeah, I can't seem to get it to run smoothly on my computer; and mine is pretty decent.

But hey, now I have a great looking coaster for my drinks.

You need to upgrade your drivers. Halo doesn't run so hot without some good pixel shader 2.0 drivers. (Detonator 5.6.x +)

Where do you get them from?

Depends on your video card. If you have an ATI card, go to ati.com. If you have a card from Nvidia, go to nvidia.com.
