Anyone tried to drive the red bull X2010 with G27?

I set the wheel to professional mode but to my surprise this car is un-drivable!

Not that it's hard to control but the G27 vibrates so violently in a way it's impossible to drive the car, not even in a straight line...

Something is wrong here... I've seen videos online where the DFGT and some other wheels works fine but I can't seem to find someone driving it with the G27.

Am I suppose to tune the suspension or I need to turn of the vibrate functions on the G27?

Im scared... I have been driving the 908 HDi FAP and things are rushing by me at 200MPH and my wheel goes crazy.

So the X2010 is gonna be worse. Oh sh....

No problems with my G25 set in Simulation mode.
I'm not sure what the exact differences are between Amateur, Pro, and Simulation but maybe try the other two and see if that makes a difference.
You can also turn down just the Force Feedback. What do you have it set to now? I assume it's on 10. Maybe try some lower settings.

I use driving force pro with max feed back and pro setting. I'm havin no trouble most of the time but the f1 car was tough to control. IM sure it will take time too get use to the speed and handling!

IMO the trouble in the 900 degree turning angle is much more then the vibration. My hand not fast enough to turn under this extremely high speed.
PD please let G25/ G27 user to adjust the turning angle....

The problem is cause by the delay between the ffb motors and the data received from the software (GT5) as well your hand trying to counter the ffb motors. GT5 tightens the center spring on race cars (as well as racing tire) more than street cars with street tires. Fanatec and Logitech ffb are too slow to react as fast as GT5 is sending the data. It feels just like your are driving a car between cones (like in the license). X2010 is just too tight for these wheels. Some here have claimed the T500RS doesn't have this problem.

If it works like the DFGT, it should automatically adjust the turning ratio depending on which car you use.
It won't lock it at a certain angle, but you can definitely tell where it stops.

Try an average road car, and then a kart/x1/F1 etc for direct comparison.

Having 900 degrees on all cars was my biggest fear before the game was released, but it turned out not to be an issue.

G25 was fine also, but I set it to 5....10 the brute force kinda muddles some of the detail in FFB....

The wheel didn't feel like it likes it also...the car finds a lot of bumps thats does not seem to be there with other cars....

To do the challenge I turned the resistance right down so I could move faster and put in auto so I didn't have to **** about changing gears.

it can be rough at times but i'm assuming so can driving at 280 around daytona in any car that will do it. it gets better when you get better with the wheel i have found. there is a sweet spot of balance that keeps the back and forth shaking to a minimum on the straights but one handed driving with the RBx is not going to go well on the straights.

haha, i have the same problem, im coming down the straight and get into a sort of speed wobble lol. have to use my knees and hands to steady it

I find 'loose' hands makes the feedback worse....so I really lock it down when going straight and that makes it smoother. Basically the more you let it move the more it wants to move...:D

I had the same trouble with it at Indy with my DFGT. Pull power plug on wheel side before starting the race to remove feedback.

Or, use a crazy toe/camber setting. They're on the forums somewhere.

I use the g27 and I found this to work on the straights and when cornering I loosen my grip on the wheel ! It took me a whole weekend just to figure out how to drive that darn thing !

i did not finish the x2010 event till i bough the g27 it made it real easy compared to DS3 controller ... few tips :

be in First person view
if u drive MT go auto
set ur wheels on simulator

Exactly! We have the same wheel and a month ago i did the Monaco race (Cote d' Azur) of F1 in A-spec. Need to get consistent and smooth in order to get it. A nice setup is needed too.
