probably a stock veyron. the tvr will have chance when it finally hooks and the escudo on launch

TBH i hooked the TVR up perfectly to beat the modded veyron. I only did it once, but it is possible. The Escudo is good, as you say, off launch. The ZZII is just genuinly fast everywhere, i wish i hadn't traded mine now :grumpy:
 
What planet do these people live on? A Veyron that handles well? lol. I laugh. There are soooo many cars that out brake and out corner the Veyron. I wish I could sell mine, I think its a POS and would rather use the money on something else...
 
It`s not difficult to beat a veyron in a race, but it is next to impossible to outperform it in a drag race or acceleration on a straight during a race with a car worth 2mil.

The Veyrons bandwith of torque is very unique it will keep its maximum on a steady line for the most part. Most cars have to build up to a maximum in a steep curve and lose it immediately once they hit it.

Thats why a veyron can push and push and push and push even above 300km/h.

I`ve put my veyron at monza within lvl 24 dreamcar challenge, standing start.

Automatic shifting
TSC: 1
set top speed: 450km/h

and hit pause at 100km/h and 200km/h

102 km/h = 2,050 seconds
101 km/h = 2,100 seconds

208 km/h = 5,283 seconds
206 km/h = 5,166 seconds

I`d like to hear about a car which is able to beat that but i doubt there is one or any (excluding FGT, F1, X1)

Unfortunately there is no way to have a clock start counting with your start in a standing position without other cars involved afaik.

It does not suck at handling. The car is given out so early that anyone can drive it is the problem. Then they complain that they cant go around a corner at X2010 speeds. Then its crash to win for them.

The Veyron should have been a Higher prize in the game 👎... It is a beauty to drive in my opinion :) (I have 4 in my garage :sly:)... Fully modded, it's a monster... a Le Mans Prototype Raper :scared:

I don't think there is anything(besides x2010) that can beat it in a drag, especially if it's tuned right but on a track it should get blown away by most properly fast cars.
 
Escudo isn't far off, but honestly, a well set up Veyron is hard to beat on a straight except by FGT's and X1's, which aren't really in a similar catagory.

How about a tuned 2J? That thing accelerates much faster than a Veyron up to 330 km/h

The 2J is slow out of the start but then picks up real quick but it won't go over 250 mph if your dragging at stage 7 or circuit de la sarthe but in a shorter drag it would be a close race.
 
Thanks guys... Looks like there isn't that much that can beat it in a drag for 2 mil price range.

HAHAHA seriously.... I will admit it can brake pretty dam good. But handling not so much. For everyone that thinks it can handle what other cars do you have? Or is Bugatti your best one.... Cuz I have like 8 other cars that can out turn it ANYDAY

Haha well anyone can beat a person that doesn't know how to drive... I'm just wondering what car could win with anyone driving it & not having to be on your best game.

Every car I have tried CANNOT beat the bugatti in a race except the full on race cars, but even then they have trouble launching and will lose in a drag. The only thing that I've found beats it is

Tommy Kaira ZZII, Enzo, TVR Speed 12, Ford GT (serious!), Suzuki Escudo

All these cars can beat a Veyron when fully modified and tuned for drag racing, and thier all obtainable for under 2,000,000cr.

And none of these other cars listed (Except the Speed 12 and ESCUDO (being a race car)) can beat it.
 
Other than brutal accel and supersonic top speed, I found the veyron to be quite disapointing as a "race" car handling wise. My vote is also for FGT, it's ballistically quick in a straight line and possibly unbeatable around corners, except for the X1 of course. Ask a nice fellow to dupe one for you for $0 or buy one legitimately for $5Mil.
 
Toyota Minolta is wayyyy better then the veyron, it's high speed pretty much means nothing when you can't use it. Take your fully tuned veyron in "Like the Wind" race, I'd rather take the Minolta.

For me it's only fun in that SS route 7. I think that where it belongs, i like the car though.

Yea I've been trying to figure out how you copy your cars like everyone is doing with flash drives & then trading them? Someone said you save your cars on a flash drive then delete them or something?

Yes the minolta is awesome and mine is well used, but to be honest, once you get the FGT, your minolta will be mothballed! no comparison... totally different league.

There are heaps of posts on how to do this. It's childsplay. Go to Game menu on PS3, plug in a USB flash drive, copy game save to USB, go into game, send the car/ticket to yourself or friend, exit game, go to game menu on ps3, load the backup from flash drive, wait for friend/yourself to send the car back, voila 2 copies.

Caveat: I do not condone nor promote or are responsible for any backlash as a result of my above post and I don't care how you think I should play the game that I spent nearly $1000 on (including PS3 and wheel). You play it how you want to play it, I don't wish to grind for hours on end for cars.
 
On a straight, the Veyron is far and out the fastest car in the game apart from the X1. Most race cars might have similar or even superior acceleration (FGT), but they end up getting killed at the top speed. The Speed 12 is very good, but its low end acceleration suck for a car of its specs.

Even if the Veyron is faster on a straight, a good Racecar like the ZR1 or Minolta will allways win against it on courses wich include some corners.
Besides, the Veyron handles bad. I simply dont feel any joy when driving it, other cars convey a much more intense race feeling.

other then the X1, FGT owns anything, exclude the F1 cars since you can't use them in event :yuck:
 
I'll throw the Cien Concept in the mix. I don't know for sure, but I've heard some people refer to it as 'The Veyron Killer'. It seems to be not great off the line, but I've had mine over 260mph under it's own power(no draft)

On a normal track (not indy or any other round track) pretty much every race car will beat the veyron because it handles like a tank. you have no speed in corners at all so it will be hard to face real race cars..i think that even a race modded corvette would beat the veyron on pretty much every track except high speed ring and la sarthe.

so you will be better of with a race car instead of a veyron.

I was in the Turbo race on High-speed with my 1234 HP veyron...and almost lost.:sick:
