Notes round 3 trial mt as we all know is a track easy to cut. As a result rager will be first to qualify then will jump out and watch others if u cut your time will not count and will start at rear. Again during the race you are given three warnings then penalties apply so careful. This has to be enforced as seen last race very close result and cutting here can be a full second a lap. great turnout for round 3 with 13 starters. well done to vend for pole and emu for the win. no incidents to report with all drivers doing their best not to cut corners. some great battles up front and in the mid pack with pitstop strategy being the big factor. please all be aware that next week is the enduro and we start an hour earlier. hope to see you all again next sunday

Now the bad news is that i could not penalise anyone for corner cutting 🤬

Hard luck to Vend, V8, sid and few. Vend and V8 on Hard tyres all race, sid and few dropped out. Just like last week I will put times up for hard and soft tyres, but this week will put int fastest first for both sets.

Notes round 4 first we start an hour earlier. As this is a long track qualify will be groups of 4 at 15 second intervals. Do not leave pit lane until instructed. Replay will be check for anyone cutting chicane. Again you can only use one set of softs during the race. You can use as many hards, wets or intermediates as you want. What will the weather settings be for MONZA - WEATHER% , WEATHER CHANGEABILITY % & SURFACE WATER % ?

In the testing done we found that 75 percent changability and start at 0 percent surface produces the best chance of changing track conditions from dry to rain
 
Thank god for that cause that's what I tested on. Camaro is a bit if a handful in the wet. Should be a fun race
 
round 4 done and dusted. 9 starters with close racing throughout for all well done to fewzo on pole and well done to vh with another win. great job vend who had fastest lap. great battle for 3rd between nochance and luke with a .1 difference across the line after 50 laps. look forward to seeing you all next sunday at our normal time of 2.30 qld 3.30 esdt

So I guess when ranger pointed out to me that when you ran out of fuel and put soft tyres on again aagainst the rules you should have dq from race but I let it slide is also bad sportsmanship. Sorry vend had a long race to do and on a timeframe. By lap 5 you were up to 3rd so sorry to see how it affected you
 
I'm still learning the gt5 pit physics and settings as this is very new to me and has so far cost me numerous victories and podiums not only in your league. Im one of the cleanest and honest racers in the gt5 community so please let me know next time I breach the rules so I can learn from my mistakes and ask question to better my knowledge of the gt5 pit physics that are very frustrating to me at this present time.
 
To be honest vend I didn't even see the msg you hadn't done your lap till I reset the track. Being the host means after my lap is done I have a lot of writing to doanddidnt notice it so I'm sorry for that. As far the pitstops go practice them if you charge in full throttle it will not work for you. Vh has the best handle on strategy on pitstops so talk to him for advice. I have spent time with other drivers to offer advice so I would expect others to help you also. Many hours went into planning this champ and would like to thank rager and fluke for their help. I also want everyone to read the rules on page 1 again. I have giving rager full respondsiblities for driving standards and penalties from here on in and what he says goes. No excuses
 
Love the ANZAC league and the clean competition. I was very frustrated with myself on Saturday due to my constant pit f#%^* ups and to top it all off I could not finish my qualifying lap.No hard feelings

All good vend but please remember most of us are in it for the challenge winning is just a bonus and don't stress I know most of us would like to do our races over again but look on the bright season 2 is nearly finalised so we will get another chance to start over again. Full details for season 2 will be revealed after round 6 so you all have time to sign up and run in your new car

Notes round 5 as stated we have all had enough runs now to know what we're doing so all penalties are from here on strictly enforced. Qualify will be the same as last weekend so we get through it quicker. Start time 230 qld 330 nsw Vic hope to see you all there and good luck. 2 key points arch practice on your tyre sets so you can work out a strategy I think you have seen buy now that you have the speed but are constantly pushing a bit to hard. You need to find a pace where your tyres will last and pitstops as stated before you have to enter at the right speed practice them also and when u enter it tells you if you need fuel and recommends how much just chuck it in and hope for the best like we all do trying to guess it is waste of time good luck Sunday
 
So that was round 5 what a race. Well done to Vh great tyre strategy. As of next week i will be in forcing rules. this is a great series and for my self a personal battle to be more consistent. okay time for the your best lap times.

I have considered that as well as trying to fit a few cars into the one series. No matter how I try the cars arnt equal unless weight and hp are matched which then means tuning is open and defeats the purpose. While there are quite a few rm and race cars to choose from very few are good to drive stock with no tune and believe me we've tried a lot. The car selected also has to be able to handle in a bunch racing situation and take a slight tap without getting to unsettled. I think you would have all found the camaro has filled the criteria quite well. Next season is pretty welled settled but as a suggestion can every please state what car they would like for season 3 will test all the cars, pick out 3 of them and season 2 winner will pick the car. Any thoughts?

Should also add the season won winner gets to wear the number 1 plate in season 2 if they choose to do so
 
Hi guys, any notes for today's race? Can the 2 concrete parts of the track be used? Are there any 'no' overtaking areas?
 
Overtaking is a driver thing if your on inside and level you have right of way if car on the outside dosnt give you room and you touch it's a racing incident. I think we have all done enough racing now to know what's a fair pass or not. The rules clearly state 2 wheels inside white line at all times 3 breaches and you get a penalty. That should answer the concrete question good luck today all
 
Hey guys. I'll be running a tad late this afternoon, where I may miss qualifying but will def be there for race. Sorry for the late notice. Couple of things popped up late notice.
