HDR'd with Photomatix... Thoughts?

No Editing once again. How are my compositions? Criticize away while I'm still in the mood to take some harsh feedback 👍

They look good, the bottom lancer one is a little dark but the tunnel and drift looks great. No jags on the smoke.

Well there are a couple of things I can fault in them but they may just be my personal "taste" I guess you could say.

First off. In the second picture I can see some damage on the vehicle. I prefer to take pictures of cars that are either not damaged at all or have lots of damage on it.

Secondly, you could play around with the filters a bit more. So have one picture that doesn't have any filters, one that has the monochrome filter on and the last one with the warm filter on so they are all a little different.

But as I said before (not exactly but the same meaning), different people prefer different things. I for one prefer the cool and warm filters. I just love them ;)

Yeah, about that...
Yeah it's a pain. The gallery I just put up, of the Corvette in the rain, has about 15-20 shots that I dumped because it has them on one small edge or another.

That's funny, I thought about that because I got into a brawl with the Zonda in the wet. I ended up in the guard rail going down the stretch at Le Mans but it gave the shoot some character.

The damaged parts came as a surprise to me as I was having fun sliding around with it, haven't gotten the hang of it yet. I forgot about damage modelling in this game.

I do play with filters, however I didn't this time because I've been doing it so much with my other photos.

Hey Jason, in the future, edit la posts instead of double posting, thanks.

How photorealistic do you think they look on a scale of 1 to 10?

Lovely shots.

Gion is such a great location for the darker toned down shots. Keep it up. 👍

The second MP4 shot is great - love the angle and composition. I also like the angles on your Elise shots. You might want to try playing around with the aperture ("F" setting) and focus on these static photos for a little variety. Keep it up!
