I'm getting a little irritated here. I pre ordered my load cell from Apelectrix over 7 weeks ago and have heard nothing. I didn't get anything confirming that he got my pre order. Ive tried contacting him many times and he never responds. I just don't see how hard it is to have something on his site giving an approximate wait time, send a pre generated email out to confirm the pre order, and just reply a one line email saying where i stand in the line. I know the guys busy but come one.

From what I'm told Andy Makes a great product but his service or complete lack of it is terrible. I don't want to fork up for a perfect pedal but another week or two and I'm out...

Just my two cents..

I disagree with you entirely.

I pre-ordered sometime in February (I think) with the full understanding that it would be quite a long wait. I e-mailed him once, in early May, asking about the status of my pre-order, and woke up the very next morning to a message saying that my order was ready for shipment and asking if I was still interested. It wasn't until the next day that I got an e-mail from Andy in response to my question, seemingly worriedly asking how long back I had pre-ordered. Once the order was ready to ship the unit arrived with 2 days I believe, much faster shipping than I expected.

Honestly I was not surprised but the wait. Remember this isn't a big company like Logitech or someone like that, as I understand it Andy is one guy hand assembling these things himself, presumably in his spare time along side a real job. It may take awhile but you are absolutely right when you say he makes a great product, it has made iRacing so much more enjoyable for me now that I can drive without looking up so easily. If you wait a little bit longer I am sure you will be disappointed, there is no way a perfect pedal is 3x better than this.

As far as the lack of contact there is not much I can say, he responded to me very quickly. When is the last time you attempted and how did you attempt to contact him?
This is the e-mail that he responded to me from "ajpastore@rcn.com" maybe you will have better luck with that.

I agree completely with Brock! I ordered last June and was in contact with Andy after a couple of months to inquire about my order status. He contacted me within a couple of hours and asked when I had placed my order. I found the original e-mail and forwarded it to him and he advised me of the wait time. As soon as the date came up he sent me an email asking if it was OK to charge me for the order, I confirmed and the load cell kit showed up in less than 3 days.

Andy is busy, and he has another job, but he has always communicated in a timely manner. Even after I installed my brake pedal mod I emailed him with questions and he answered them in the same day. :) :sly:

Me too ! he risponde to me every time i contact him!I'm waiting fot my Apeletrix from 20days now and he told me that he will ship another one if i don't ricieve it!
Great service

I have no problem waiting, If it take 4 months so be it. I understand it probably is one guy doing these in his spare time. Although it sucks having to wait this long my gripe is with the lack of communication. Just spill it, I don't need a day to day update but some info would be nice. At the very least, write on the site in the order info area and approximate estimate given the existing queue. Maybe Ive just been unlucky with the email, Ive just been clicking the "contact" section of the site, ill try the one above...
