Wouldn't that be great if we could get a "Max Verstappen Challenge" using the Ferrari 296 GT3 on the Nürbrugring for christmas ? Like we had one with Lewis Hamilton ?

I think it's not out of the realm of possibility we get something like that. Verstappen is the hottest person in motor racing as of now and we're getting his GT3 car in the next update. An official collab with GT makes sense for both parties.
They could go even further. iRacing is using real pro drivers to tune each race car nowadays, and GT could do the same if they wanted. It's very good marketing.

I doubt they would go to such involvement but a dedicated challenge seems in the realm of possibilities, or even a time trial with this combo car + track layout (but it would be much more interesting if it is done with the official endorsement of MV)
That's right, and maybe he does not consider GT as a serious enough sim. But maybe the popularity could play in our favor. On the passion side of thing, it may not motivate him, but on the marketing side, it could be interesting for cross-promoting.
I have a feeling his recent quote about FWD cars would be similar to his sentiment about Gran Turismo. I hope someone asks him about it, just so I can watch the world burn lol.
