Changing from 4PM GMT to 3PM GMT

Looking better and better that I am going to be able to race today, I'm pretty excited as its been awhile. I too am wondering whether to run with no abs, I was running 3-2 for a bias, am going to go and try 1-0 see if that helps.

I'm running 4-1 in the dry. 1-0 is for 100% wet.

I found running the rear higher than 1 meant the back stepped out too much, especially in low speed corners. :)
 
Hi guys.

Just a couple of things for today....








The Tsukuba race ended with a twist that wouldn't be out of place in a Hollywood thriller, with half of the grid getting caught out with fuel, including the leader. This has really left the championship wide open as we go into Suzuka.

Remember, the weatherman says bring an umbrella, but also remember that Sports Hards are the ONLY compound you can use at a race weekend.

I look forward to seeing you all today as we go to Lake Suzuka. :)
 
I'd also just like to say that if people could refrain from using the in game chat during qualifying and especially in the 2nd session of qualifying that would be much appreciated. Last week at Tsukuba I, and I'm sure others, made mistakes because we were distracted by the box popping up.

Secondly Dax, set the end of race timer to 2 minutes or something this time, last time too many people didn't actually finish. :)

Due to a last minute occurrence, I won't make the race today. Really ticked too, Suzuka is one of my favorite and best tracks. Good luck to everyone and enjoy this awesome track 👍
 
Turns out my GTP doesn't have the Pirtek Mx5 and the main has one but for some reason stage 3 found it's way on that one. I'll just buy new a one on GTP then.. :lol:

(No practice either but should be fun :))

You're lucky. With the rain it was 🤬 horrible. I have better things to do than skate around at 25mph for 3 hours. Not to mention my wheel is burning up right now already.

Good grief.

I'm with this. If you're going to limit us to sports hards only we should just run dry races.
 
It looked like there was a big wreck into T1 on the second race lap and I was lucky enough to be ahead thinking I am going to have a big lead now and then boom I disconnect.

I just now am able to reconnect to the lobby. I agree the sports hards do not do well in 100% water, but I wish I had a chance to finish the race so I could pick up some points for this championship.
 
Or just drop the worst result for each driver at the end. Anything to help me win :)

I am just pissed because I put a lot of practice into this track this week and it looked like it was going to pay off. Oh well that's racing.

you had any decency you wouldn't rage quit and how would you feel if you stuck it out and then the results were scrapped and you won so I'm sure the race wont be re run.

In this case I think rage quitting was the sane thing to do.

Letting us drop our worst finish during the season would make up for it. Racing in those conditions is just crazy.

I suppose the conditions were terrible. I wanted yo continue the race but unfortunately got disconnected :/ and I suppose that wont be a bad idea.
