Apex-R Vs. *Team Audi*

Track:
TC (Tsukuba Ciruit)
Cars:
any car of the following companies: (For Team Apex-R) Toyota, Mitsubishi, honda and subaru.
Horsepower:
+10%
Weight:
-10% (think thats right?)

This is a 2 race series, the last race will be on the Ring.
Team Audi will have either 2 or 3 members participating in the event.
Post your T1, T2 and final lap times.
The WRS rules apply to these races.

Post your times by this coming saturday.

What tyres are allowed? We will just assume that there is no limit. Good luck to you too.

What does it mean about the 10%? Does that mean 10% more hp on the car? and 10% less on the weight? I assume whoever makes the fastest time in Apex-R will challenge Team Audi? Sorry for asking to many questions but what does T1 and T2, and WRS mean? Anyway, Goodluck to everyone...:)
 
Request to Team Audi: To conpensate for our lack of participation in choosing manufactures for both teams, we'd like to have the previlege to choose the track where the last race would take place.

Would Team Audi accept this request?
 
Do we really want this to be an Arcade Mode race? Couldn't the race be Apex-R's JDM creations vs. *Team Audi*'s crazy creations? That way it could be a little more fair, depending on the tuning levels of the chosen cars we'd all be around supercar levels. My RS4 with +10% -10% would KILL an Integra Type R +10% -10% around Tsukuba unless I made a royal mistake...

EDIT: We could make car selection free but say must be around 500bhp and 1200kg. That way it would be more of a tuning competition along with a fair racing competition.
 
Hey, you guys made the decision... If you want to change it, we recommend the change should take effect in the last race because our memebers already made some lap times.
 
That's cool. The second race can be at a track of your choice, in GT Mode, with our very own cars. We can also create categories to compete in. Modded, 300-400hp (NOS legal street tires), 1300-1500kg. Tuner, 400-500hp (NOS illegal street tires), 12-1300kg. GT Ready, 500-600kg (NOS illegal, racing tires) 1050-1200kg. Ultimate Supercar Challenge [Mods (that means NOS is legal) free with the exception of tires, must remain sports or "normal" tire.]

I didn't put a whole lot of thought into the classes, just what came into my head while typing. Tell me what you think.

1 - 12 points
2 - 6 points
3- 4 points
4 - 3 points
5 - 2 points

Awsum, the second race is tuned cars! So team Audi, are you just using audi's? (Wait is that a stupid question?) Are those the final catagories decided? How about other categories that will suit the cars that are chosen, because some of the cars i want to use (Integra and Civic) will be completley outclassed and falls into no category.
 
Were obviously using any audi production car.
We have i think 3 classes.

No, your numbers are good! We will go with that... However I just like to point out that no tcs or asm should be used.

All the stuff about the classes and GT Mode and stuff... doesn't take effect 'till race two. However, the points system listed in post 8 is in effect now, correct?

This warrants a double post...

I'm not sure as I believe someone had an issue with weights in one class. We can have an open discussion about that over the next week. For now concentrate on race one.

Start submitting times ASAP. I guess I'll start the fun.

Audi TT Coupe 3.2 Quattro '03 (Sports Medium Tire)
+10%hp = 263 -10%w = 1368kg

T1: 13.626 T2: 33.255 LAPTIME: 1'03.824

I did about 7-8 minutes this morning hot lapping. Haven't found a whole lot of time to get on and frankly I'm not that enthused to get on. My DFP is busted, no word yes/no from my dad on whether or not he's got/getting/will get around to purchasing a replacement. Still not 100% sure that is a great time as the DS2 is strange and I find it really hard to put together a good lap due to lack of feel, throttle modulation etc. Good luck to everyone.
