App problem

On the mobile app there is a red number 1 on the app icon like I need to check something, problem is I don't know what

The badge should refer to the number of unread, new, threads you have subscribed to plus any unread Private Messages. If you don't like that, you can disable the badge by going to your iOS device's Settings > Notifications > GTPlanet and set the sliders accordingly.

I'll hijack this thread instead of posting a new one.

The "participated" tab under "current" is not updating as it should. It shows (not always) fewer threads than I'm actually involved in.

As always, not a major problem or bug, just wanted to report it

Like now this thread should appear, but it doesn't no matter how much I reload or restart the app. It will however appear in a few hours, that's the way it went down last time when I discovered it.

I just tried to re-create this issue. After some activity, the "Participated" tab was out-of-date after returning to it, but pulling the list of threads up to refresh the screen worked as expected.

I just participated in a thread but under participated it won't show the thread even when I refresh and exit and enter the app this isn't much of a problem however so dont worry about it too much

Just to clarify:

Drag n drop to refresh works for new posts in threads that's already there under "participated".

It's just threads you very recently posted in that takes a few hours to actually appear.

So, not really a big problem, but would make "multi-thread conversations" much easier to follow

Hmm. I still can't recreate the issue - replying to a thread for the first time and refreshing the Participated tab works as expected. Do you not automatically subscribe to threads which you reply to? They'll automatically appear on the "Subscribed" tab, which is generally easier to get to.

If not, you may want to give that a try (you can manage the settings in your account options).

That's strange, I guess there's a difference in there somewhere. I changed the sunscribed settings, let's hope it works!

edit: I just found another quirk.

Under the "more" tab with all the options for profile etc.. If you click on search you can't go back, instead of a button to go back to "more" it's just a button that says "clear", I had to restart the app to come back the root of "more".

Ah, yes, I can see where that could be a little confusing. You can just tap the "More" tab to return to the menu, though.
