iPod Used In Domestic Homicide

Brad Pulaski had died of blunt trauma to the head after being repeatedly bludgeoned with an iPod, a popular MP3 player produced by Apple.
....
According to law officers, Mathers was hysterical when police arrived and told them that she killed her boyfriend only after he accused her of illegally downloading music and erased about 2,000 of her MP3s. Mathers complained that it took 3 months to build her music collection.

What do you think? Granted, losing 2000 songs is very disappointing, but would you kill? I've got 4500 on my laptop alone - i've been collecting for nearly a year now. I lost a good 500 extremely rare songs and more importantly, my artwork from my ipod that day i got mugged. I probably would have sent the guy that robbed me to the ER if my knee hadn't crapped out........but to kill a person over lost music/artwork?

Just how many times would you have to hit someone over the head with an iPod to kill them?

Apple should use this for marketing purposes.

"iPod; When your too cheap to buy CD's and feel like cheating. iPod; When you are pissed and feel like giving a beating. iPod; wack them on the head as a greeting. iPod; for all your needs."

Well, obviously the girl's got problems, but I mean, man, that's one sucky way to die! I'd rather die doing something that I like, not by being struck in the head with an iPod. :odd:

Um...I think its pretty obvious that nobody here that's sasne would kill. Thats a really funny story. Haha,

"Come on! It took three months to do that! What do you mean murder charges?"

That guy probably had problems too, if he was with a girl that crazy and allowed her to beat him with the iPod 80 times. Any grown man could have stopped her, unless he was stoned out of his mind.

iPod 0wnage.

Maybe he thought it was another shoddy apple product and it would instantly fall apart when it came in contact with his head? My creative player could do some dammage though, it's pretty heavy compared to the iPod.

And I thought the idea with these high capacity MP3 players was to have your actual cd collection on the damn thing. Not downloaded music on it.

I don't think that the actual iPod had the music on it; she might have just grabbed something nearby to hit him with.

What 30 minutes in Photoshop can produce:

The source image is not in 4:3 ratio size and I only saved it as that small size. If you can give me some time, I can modify it.

Well, the jokes have been made, so the question is this: what absurd sentence will the defence try for?

These stories anger me. Not just because of the absurdity of the acts commited, but the immense gall of those who commited them. She shall almost surely plead for leniency, and use emotional distress as a defense. If her bit of responsibleness, admittance to the crime, is indicative of her greater nature, she'll jail herself and throw away the key. I do not want to hear one, not one damn word from her family about how good she is. All I want to hear is that she's going to spend 30 years to life in solitary, with severe restrictions on the use of electronic equipment.

Incase anyone's curious, I do oppose executions.

agreed. Don't forget, this is her response to her boyfriend caring about her enough to stop her from committing an illegal activity that more than 50% of all internet users participate in...downloading music.

Look at it this way if a cop pulls you over and says do you have any weapons you can say just my iPod and you prolly cant get in trouble for that.

Pretty much Anything can be a weapon, think about it you could kill someone using anything...

For some IGNORANT reason I actually talked my company out of buying a wide format printer. I guess because at the time I didn't want to be the one that had to support it. Now I wish I hadn't.

plotters aren't too hard to config. I used to do some work with'em back in high school. What's TOUGH is working with Fiery RIP Processors...through a mac. My GOD their software support for industry standard OS'es SUCKS. It works with os9 but not osx. Good thing we dual boot between the 2 :D.

Wow. She is dumb for not backing up her music. And for owning an iPod. There are much better mp3 players out there. I heard that iPod's battery craps out after like a year. That's not the reason i dislike iPods though. They're Mac, 'nuff said.

Story's apparently fake. Check Google news search.

I was wondering why "Liquid Generation" was in the address.

Clicking on any banner leads you right to there.
