What do the numbers for Downforce really represent? I've heard they sometimes align with kilograms of force but sometimes they don't, so I'm curious about how much downforce a car actually creates in this game when set at a value.. Like 400

In previous games it was kgs as you have heard...sort of.

The numbers represent the amount of extra weight (or load) bring applied to the total weight of the car when the aerodynamic forces are at maximum effect.

I'm not 100% sure it's still the same I GT Sport, but I'd put money on it :)👍.

With vehicles that have active aero, does the game only show the the amount of downforce the rear diffuser creates, and the active aero comes on and we have to guess how much it produces?

I honestly have no clue :guilty:. I would think it would show the maximum amounts applicable, but I couldn't say for sure.

It is just a number. As downforce changes by speed, what single number could they give?
