One thing that annoys me with GT5 is that in Forza you can create an online lobby and race against solely AI opponents using any car in the game and earn in game credits.

I have had two of my best races on GT5 in arcade mode. I used both the GT Audi Coupe and a Ferrari Italia on Monaco over 3 laps and had a very competitive race against equal opponents in each race. No 1 opponent shoot-outs it was more like the initial seasonals in terms of chasing opponents down.

I would love to race what ever track I want against cars of a similar level and earn credits. I think there is 3 cote d'azur races in all of GT5 and none of them are unrestricted.

Another thing on a similar arcade level is when you reach level 40 which takes a load of hours is that all cars should unlock, it wouldn't spoil the game because by that time you'd have to have had over 100 hours game time, maybe 200 so their should be a significant reward to bring some fun to the game, such as being able to enjoy the cars instead of grinding.

I mostly agree.

I'd like it for arcade mode to feature XP points and credits as I use it a lot and have some of my most enjoyable times in that mode.

If it rewarded winning a challenging race with XP and credits (relevant to the PP) I'm sure the complainer out there would have less to say about 'grinding'.

Also the fact that damage can be included in arcade mode adds so much more to the experience.

I agree. I saved up Credits for the F2007 in Prologue 20,000 at a time by arcade races. Much more fun. Just picked a bit higher PP for the opponents than your own car and you could have a lot of good races. I remember my 24 laps of London races:D

Other games have all the best ideas, GT5 has the shiniest cars though which is by far the most important thing, NOT!

No. Well, kind off.

Let us have full control over the arcade mode. Call it a sandbox mode if you like. We don't earn any credits from it anyway.

Forza is NOT GT5
GT5 is not Forza.

If you like Forza, play Forza
If you like GT5, play GT5

Different games
different features.
Simple enough.

Must admit that that would be one cool feature, though. A lot of players would like it.
