What's the deal with Arcade Mode?

Ugh, too late now but this is in the wrong place isn't it.... thought this was the main forum, my bad. *

I searched a bit and didn't find much...



Can you unlock cars for it, and how do you use your own car in Arcade Mode off your memory card?

My friend and I want to race my cars against eachother and stuff... can't figure out how to load..

This might be in part the fact that mine is in Japanese and my T.V isn't clear enough for me to be able to read the Kanji and find my way around.

Some help?

to unlock cars in arcade you need to own them in gran turismo mode. it is enough to buy/win the car. after that it will be unlocked in arcade mode, even after you sell it.

when you are playing 2-player batle in arcade mode, on the screen where you choose your car [the one with all the manufacturers], in the middle, at the top of it there are two rectangles with numbers 1 and 2 on them. numbers are memory card slots, just click on them and your garage will open. mind that you won't have NOS and also driving aids will be turned off - nothing you can do about it AFAIK.
