New splits:

T1: 24.447 (24.325)
T2: 54.748

I lost 0.150 in the last sector but I'm pretty satisfied with this lap :) .

 Great Splits. 👍

I've been running some more this morning, but nothing new to report yet.

Updated the board with all the new splits.

Some tight racing among all the WRS D2 drivers. :scared:

EDK
I can see you in my mirror, and it's getting crowded in the 56's. :scared:

And thanks for the sig props for the series. 👍

finally cracked the 25 secs on 1st sector with 24.9xx
but the rest of the lap was awful.

new splits:

T1 0'25.144
T2 0'56.387

I propably drafted past you.. can't see any other reason for these times :D

Making the Race Series known is the least I can do.

New splits for me, although not too much different.

25.302
56.596

I've seen consistent 25.0XX with occasional 24.9XX T1's, but I still cannot get consistent in the last 2 sectors. This lap had a quick last sector. ;) This might be the lap I submit.

Updating the board now. 👍

New ones for me too.

T1 24.907
T2 56.042

Cannot for the life of me break into the 55s. :grumpy:
I did find another full 8/10ths at the line though so all in all, a good night's work! 👍

Reminder to all of today's deadline on the warmup race. Deadline is in a little less than 7 hours, at 5 pm PST, or midnight GMT.

Thanks for all the participation and the submissions I've received so far. :D

I'm going to submit my lap with the splits shown. 👍

Results are up on the first post. 👍

My replay is attached. (NTSC Format)

Great times up there on the podium guys.

I did not think I would be that far behind at the finish line. Its not a lot of time difference but it is many positions.
I need to work on that last sector in the future.
See you at Infineon.

Sorry guys I forgot all about this due to getting back on GT5P at last and also never got back to this since my last update and was way off the pace to boot :p my saved lap is a 1'26.086 and I had no chance of beating the top 2 even if I did run some more ... Well done all!

crazy close between 3rd 4th and 5th places

I'm gonna bow out guys as I should have stayed out in the GT4 pasture in the first place but I suppose we all wanna see if we can still do it occasionally and it's pretty obvious that I can't match the top runners anymore, have fun guys and again well done for some great laptimes

Cheers Kev ;) 👍

Checked EDK's replay and it's clean. 👍

Thanks for the check. 👍

I looked at yours as well, thanks for getting it up here so promptly. Nice quick, clean replay.

You carried a lot of speed at the right hand kink coming up to T1, and then over the hill after T1. Nice throttle and brake technique there. You also handled the double left at the bottom of the hill before T2 very well. Just excellent throttle and braking control all around, and that was key. 👍

Ron.

No problems, Ron. Hopefully your contribution of the video helped some racers out during the week. We were glad to have you here, even if only for a bit. See you soon in GT5P.

Also took a look at EDK & jmgyro's laps, both clean and quick.

Here's my effort. Lost most of my time just after T2, as I braked too deep into the bend. :dunce:

Thanks for the additional checks. 👍

Just watched yours, also clean and green. A really nice run!

By the way, a PAL user has kindly agreed to check Zikwik's replay AND make a video of it for the NTSC drivers. Should have that up here in the next few days.

Zikwik's replay has been given the clean and green. 👍 Replay is up in the results post, enjoy.

EDIT: Sorry, not sure where my manners went. Thanks to Mr P for viewing Zikwik's replay and making the video. 👍
