 This conversation is partly the reason why I've only like their concept cars and the Viper. Now that they changed the Viper even that is wearing thin.

Dodge has long primarily used fwd in thier sedans and coupes and such. I have heard that they are thinking of moving some of hte more expensive sedans back to rear wheel drive.

It wont kill to search. Go to dodge website and check it out if you have a question.

No SRT4 is not available with an auto... i dont think.. its only 5 speed manual transmission.

THIS THREAD'S BEEN HIJACKED!!!

On Topic ....

If you look in the Cars In General Forums, there is a thread about the SRT-4 if you want some more information about that car.

I don't believe the SRT-4 comes with an automatic transmission.

You can go find out for us :D

No. It doesn't.

Most current Chrylser/Dodge products are FWD, particularly the cars. The Pacifica is AWD, as are some minivans. The Viper and Crossfire are RWD. Obviously the trucks are 4WD or RWD.

The upcoming Magnum wagon is going to be RWD as well.

The Prowler was RWD and front engine, as well. But like I said earlier, it's not in the current lineup.

rollazn - your signature is MASSIVE - eight lines (enlarged text counts double - including big-ass smilies) at my count. Limit here is 6 lines. Could you shrink it please?

I happened on a Crossfire on the roads today. Bleugh!

Dodge Neon - FWD
Dodge SRT-4 - FWD
Dodge Stratus - FWD
Dodge Intrepid - FWD
Dodge Magnum - RWD or AWD
Dodge Caravan - FWD or AWD
Dodge Viper - RWD
Dodge Durango - RWD or AWD

Chrysler PT Cruiser - FWD
Chrysler Sebring - FWD
Chrysler Crossfire - RWD
Chrysler Concorde - FWD
Chrysler 300 - RWD or AWD
Chrysler Pacifica - FWD or AWD
Chrysler Town & Country - FWD or AWD
Chrysler Voyager - FWD or AWD

The next generation Sebring/Stratus will apparently also be RWD (based off the Chrysler Airflite concept).

Probably not.

Last I heard the next gen. JA-cars will share the Mitsu Galant platform or will have a lengthened version of the Lancer platform.

It's pretty obvious to tell whether a car is rear-engine or front-engine, and they usually don't make little pee-wee cars rear wheel drive (except Mazda Miatas). This is pretty simple stuff that you can easily find anywhere on the internet.
