Are anti groups allowed?

Title summarises the inquiry and to be more punctual I want to refer to this situation:


Anti-Bronies group

You will not behave in an abusive and/or hateful manner, and will not harass, threaten, nor attack any individual or any group.

Now as you might have noticed I'm a brony(sort of) therefore my opinion can be biased at the time of exposing my arguments, however while not offended or interested in such group I should address that its existence and content go against the basic rules of AUP, which makes me wonder if such thing is allowed.

One of the situations I find interesting in the group is that it doesn't go against a concept(which is allowed) but it rather goes against a group of people (which is not allowed, and in punctual terms it can be defined as "racist"), now if such group were to exist it would be acceptable, however the concept itself is based against the AUP rules, but far from being a simple group the problem is that its allowance could widespread the existence of anti-groups of individuals(which is not allowed).

I do get the reasoning of the existence of that group, I also understand the continuity of such group, however I'll like to see the opinions of the moderation staff and their thoughts about this, because it is an allowance of a group which is not allowed under the rules of the AUP (which regulates the common behaviour on the forums).

And no, I don't want to start I fight, I'm just simply genuinely interested to see mods position on this kind of "situation".

I wasn't referring to your group as a whole, but rather the concept behind the anti-group of individuals concept (which I do believe goes against AUP).

Again, I'm not looking for your group closure, but rather the parameters that mods define as not offensive in a offensive group(which the concept of your group sort of is).

This is not true, we are against the idea of Bronies, not the members themselves.

Well that clarifies a some aspects of the issue since the definition of "Bronies" is associated with a group of individuals, and this forum contains a group which is defined as "Bronies".

I don't think that "anti-bronies" members are against "bronies" members, however I still want to hear the word of moderators about the whole "against a group of individuals" concept, again I'm not looking for a closure or anything like that but rather an opinion by the moderation team.

Please point out where the Anti-Bronies have harassed, threatened, or attacked your group. Also point out where they have been abusive or hateful towards your group.
If you can't, then the group has broken no rule because as far as I'm reading, that's what the AUP forbids, not the actual existence of the group.

And they are not racist. Last I checked, "Bronies" are not a race in the human population.

The staff are currently discussing this matter. Quite frankly, I'm not a fan of MLP, but people liking different things isn't an issue. Not liking people because of their likes, and even worse, forming groups simply to trash said group, isn't going to go over well though. Especially when you run into comments like this:

Comparing the group to Gaddaffi, or talking of becoming a "real threat" is more than a bit unnerving, as someone who has no horse in this race (pardon the pun), but is more concerned about the effect it would have on the entire community.

...And this is where the trouble forms. Should we allow an anti-MLP group? How about an anti-Forza? Some people don't like Christianity, perhaps an anti-Christian group for them? Or an anti-gay coalition? They'd all have the same argument; they're not against the members of whatever their target is, just the idea.

I fail to see how anything remotely positive can come out of this thread, or the social group.

I agree with Korza, it's not against the people, it's the idea of Bronies that it's against. We have no reason to be annoyed at any other members, brony or non brony. We just don't like brony Ponies. Not Brony people.

Nothing we're doing is against the AUP. We're not harassing or abusing them in any way. Basically what you're saying is that we lose our rights and they keep theirs? Doesn't seem fair. They prance around and act like they're kings, annoying everybody.
